i cant seen to get campionship manager to work on castaway has anyone had any luck???

I definitely got this to work, however it took an absolute age to load (about 2 minutes). can't remember if the original game was like this, but I lost my patience with it!!!

i cant even get the cursor to move withe the mouse. any ideas?? it moves with the joystick but not where you want it too.

I deffo got it to work. Maybe it's a dodgy rom? I got it from that FTP site everyone goes on about - I cant remember what it is though?

Seems to work ok. But I hate football, so I didn't check to heavily. I only put it on there to piss my brother off- he loves CM games, but is to much of a luddite to know how to operate an emulator. And I wasn't about to tell him :)

I know this is a bit late but...... it deffinatley works, its absolutley ace,it has real names, and I'm halfway through my second season. :D
The first time its loads it does take an age to load, but if you save after that it takes no time at all.
Champ manager on the move...... It just proves dreams do come true :D :D :D

Thanks again Skezix

Real names! Which version have you got? That makes all the difference!

not sure what version it is, but when I get home I will post you the link for download

Champ Man on the Atari ST.

I know it was a long time ago, but where did you get it and have you still got it?

I've got one but no real names.

Thanks for looking.

Found it myself.

It's Champ Man End of Season 1994 it's called.

All real players. The ripper though has changed the backgrounfd picture and it looks sh!te. But still, it'x Champ Man with real players.

Now to sell Julian Dicks and nurture the young hotshot that is Robbie Fowler.
Whoo...

I odnt think I can post links to roms, but if you PM or email me, I'll be only to happy to oblige.

It's 3 disks, involves a lot of swapping em, but it's all sweet, took about 10 minutes to go through it all and start. Wish I could change the background picture though.

Frustrating about the background pic. There is an option to change it but the ripper obviously took it out.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Cant read some of the league tables and things?

I found it. Google is good. Now trying to sign that elusive Brazilian player :)

My version has just a list of scores in the background (needed for the copyright protection).

Yeah, every Champ Man fan should have this in their GP32.

It's so good.

Have you checked the league tables? That's when the background gets annoying.

Yeah, it's brilliant.

Played 4 lost 3. Not going well. Pity cant read the league table well.

Signed Some young stud called Sol Campbel (ha ha ha), Vieri and Scmeichel. I hope this version of Champ Man gets the future correct, cos with those first two, I'm deffo onto a winner.

I'm telling you, if this wasnt just a 'game' on an emulator, a proper port of this would sell GP32 by the bucket load.

It's all free now also.
