What is the cheapest and easiest way to write to the pspspsp's mem stick bearing i mind I can't use internet cos i am goang away tomorrow?

so umm can I just use a standard usb cable to plug it into my pc?

also can i use the ps2 cable to charge it?

Use is just to write a few mp3s and crap to it to see how it goes.

Ah i see... I've sorted it now.
Thanks anyways
Psp is proper bo

a standard figure-8 plug will go into the tranformer, the ps2 plug being an example of this.

so long as you have the correct usb cable then you can connect the psp to the pc. i used the cable that came with my rio karma.

er... It come's with all the cables you need except the USB Cable which is just a USB A to mini B (which comes with many flash MP3 players and things of that nature)

don't forget that you can also get a combined cable which plugs into the usb on your pc and gives both usb and power to the PSP (so it charges via usb).

my card reader on my laptop apprently takes memory stick, so like a twat i pushed in then spent an hour getting it out with a pair of tweezers, i think i need the adaptor you get with some of the sandisk memory sticks. i dont need one i have a usb cable, i was just curious to see if it worked.

I bought a reader (two in fact!) but found neither of them would read my 1Gb stick! The only way I can read/write it is to use a PSP USB lead.

Is a pain in the ass, but at least it works.

My 32Mb card will read fine in both though - without an adapter. Both cardreaders have quite shallow MS slots, so you can (carefull) put a duo card into them, and still have enough sticking out to get it out again...

I'm using my 1 Gig card in my reader without any problems.

Yeah - its weird how my 1Gb stick just refuses to work in both of my readers. Its a Sandisk 'gaming' stick (the neon yellow ones) and is supposedly 100% compatible. Ah well, as long as I can do it some way or another I dont really care!
