Hey!

I am looking for a brand new GP32. Does anyone know of any retailers in the UK who sell it?

Just don't buy from Lik-sang if you're in the UK, I did and it cost me £30 on the spot import tax. They don't let you choose what they put on the package either, which would help keep the tax down.

GBAX there fast and as cheap as youl get here. Also get a FLU (Front lit unit) GP32 you will not regret it the light makes gaming anywhere so much easyer, without a light you will find your GP gaming restricted as there are no gameboy style clip on lights.

Thanks for your help guys but he does not sell any games. Do you know anyone who sells both the console and the games?

I have found play-asia to be a good site. Would I have to pay import duty by importing goods from Hong Kong?

What do you mean exactly? Games from Joy GP are bought and then downloaded to your PC regardless of where you got your GP32. Then you can use the PClink cable you get with the unit or use a smart card writer to put them onto the GP32.

I got my gp32 from play-asia cause they have a bank account in australia and it was easier 4 me 2 get it. i wanted to go through gbax to support craigx cause he helps the gp32 community and he even made doom on the gp32 (i know he left off from where some1 else started)

But i asked play-asia to mark it as gift so i had no import fee and i didnt which was lucky :)

but u can get gp32 from gbax then u can get games from play-asia atleast then u get next day on the gp32 n u have time 2 tryout the free games n emus ;)

Whats this??

I'm looking to buy a GP32, and I was going to go with Lik-Sang on this one, mainly because they are cheapest. But that £30 charge would bump it up a lot...

When do you get charged that?

Edit Nevermind... I've just bought it from GBAx.com. :)
And a 64mb SMC from MX2.co.uk for £9.99 (99p P&P) - oooh.

When the post man turns up with it he hits you with a big fine. A mate of mine brought An EQ expansion off Sony's Everquest site assuming they would send him one from one of thier UK suppliers. It came from America and he was charged on the spot as it was delivered. :(
