Let's Have A Holy War

I was always partial to the autobots; Starscream whined too much, the little shit =)

Or Tonto; he was the right Indian :)

I'm disappointed, with Inopia naming a topic "Let's Have A Holy War" I thought he'd say something much more inflammatory. But endianness? Do people really care any more? Little-endian won the war, and only communists or towel-heads would use anything else.

I wish there were some way to enforce the good ol' American Geek way of coding: using vi (on Gnome is acceptable, but not that frog and spic infested KDE) on Red Hat Linux (none of the foreign distributions, especially "don't mention the war!" Suse). Windows would have been an alternative because of its healthy capitalist background, but millions of people use it and a percentage of them are undoubtably homosexual.

Emacs is undoubtably American, and very geeky, but it was heavily influenced in its earlier days by Richard Stallman, who is fat and hairy - all signs of a middle-aged hippie. I bet he smells bad too.

windows is better than linux: better kernel, better hardware support and better graphical user interface. Opensource does not innovate, coorporations do.

I agree; emacs is super to vi only in its original Windows version; the vile unix ports are just pathetic attempts to copy it.

Larry, I mean Bill, er, Jeff
