I dont know which one to get.

GC+'s
mario sports games, tennis, golf, baseball, football
resident evil (got 4 for the ps2 but the reviews still say GC version is the best)
mario kart
snowboard kids (dont know if its out for GC but i can hope lol)

GC-'s
It's a bit on the chunky side by the looks of it.

DS+'s
Mario kart
sonic rush
Snowboard kids
resident evil (even tho i've done the original on the ps1
multiplayer over the t'internet

DS-'s
i still dont like the look of it IMO
doesnt look like there's any mario sports game's out

what do you reckon?

gamecube chunky?? it's very small. I have both and at this time with Nintendo Wifi, i think the choice would be obvious. DS.

I haven't played my cube in a few months. But i play Mario Kart DS daily.

i was only going off the pictures that i've seen for the size i've never seen one in "real life" before.

yeah the wi-fi does have the edge at the moment. is there a lot of games due for release that will have the wi-fi over the t'internet or will it be crap like the psp wi-fi were you have to find some1 else that has the game close to you?

please please please tell me that snowboard kids has wi-fi over the t'internet? :D

you have got some serious mis information issues.

first of all the PSP wifi is better than nintendo wifi, i know because i have both and my PSP signal is alot stronger than my DS, PSP has Twisted Metal and Madden 06 that can be played online, the DS has Mario Kart at the moment but will soon have Animal Crossing DS, Tony Hawk and Metroid Hunters.

i'll just stick with my psp and get a GC instead so i can play all the mario sports game's.

there'll be a decent ds emulator out soon so i'll just use that instead of gettin a DS now.

Aparently gamecubes are going for about £30 now at gamestation and shops like that so that should save me some money instead of the £90 for the ds + the £30 per game.

might get a DS in the new year if the price drops.

well, if you go that route i'd suggest picking up the original Resident Evil game, pretty cheap now a day and its fantastic, as well as Smash Bros, Monkey Ball 1, not 2, and if you like RPGs Tales of Symphonia is pretty good though if you like flashy cinemas in your RPGs then don't expect to much here.

the resident evil 4 for the GC? yeah i've heard thats good and i've not started it on my ps2 yet so i'd pick that up if it was cheap enought. gutted they didnt do a snowboard kids game for it tho.

i'll probably grab smash bros & MB1

Cheers for the help/advice Angel

Gaz.

no, the Resident Evil 1 remake for the Cube, its amazing, everything about it. You'll crap yourself when you see the graphics, i was even pretty suprised they were as good as they were.

anyone selling there gamecube(silver)? :)

ideally with all or either

mario tennis
mario baseball
mario golf
super smash bros
mario kart
res evil 1
res evil 4
mario soccer

i thought the only online game was Phantasy star online.

not if you use warp pipe

If you're like us, you're more than a little disappointed that "Mario Kart: Double Dash!!" doesn't have an online component. Sure, you can get up to 16 players to play together on a LAN, but we want online play.

We found a solution. An outfit called the Warp Pipe Project created a way to fool your GameCube into playing online through your PC and broadband connection.

Even cooler, Warp Pipe allows for region-free play. That means you can play against people in countries with different regional hardware and software. Got a friend in Japan? Kick his banana-peel-throwing butt to the curb.

The tools
Here's what you'll need to get "Mario Kart: Double Dash!!" online.

A PC running Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Linux, or a Macintosh running OS X
Warp Pipe Software
A Nintendo GameCube console
A Nintendo GameCube broadband adapter
A supported game (currently "Mario Kart Double Dash!!" and "Kirby Air Ride")
A fast broadband connection with at least 128 Kbps upstream bandwidth ("Kirby Air Ride" may require up to 256 Kbps upstream bandwidth)
A supported network configuration

Once your network is set up, find out your IP address by visiting WhatIsMyIp.com. You'll need to give your IP address to whomever you plan on playing with online.

Install and start the Warp Pipe software and select your Ethernet settings. Once running, you can either wait for another player to connect to you through your IP address (listening), or you can connect to a player using his or her IP address.

Visit the Warp Pipe website for downloads and further instructions.

Just so you know, mario football is terrible.

Also at this time, atleast where I live, you can pick up a used cube at any video game store for the same price as a new video game. This will probably be the last big Christmas for the cube being that the Revolution is on its way next year. So it will only get cheaper to pick up.

What's the story on this supposed redesign exactly?

The game cube is tiny and cute. there are dozens of low priced games worth playing on it and some are identical to PS2 games but only cheaper depending on where you buy games. The DS is a nice item too though, I'd have bought one myself already if they came in black, which is really all I'm waiting for.
