This is not even a factory made xbox 360 box. I made it myself, just a few minutes ago. It does not contain an Xbox 360 console, just the Xbox 360 home-made box. this box is great hand made by me says XBOX right on it It doesn't look anything like the picture I included in the auction. It looks much better, in my opinion.

$611 USD??

That's hardly grounds for kicking out of E-bay...

Though, the small description is rather missleading... But, if you are going to shell out 611$ for anything, you really should read the whole text, and read it well...

eBay should do more police work themselves. Being what they're in the online market place, they should be more responsible. "I dunno" won't cut it any more for them.

Yeah thats one of the people my brother got banned. As you can tell it says no longer a registered User.

He works for Sutherland :p A Ebay Email/Call Center its a great job.

Your brother sucks. Its that own person's fault that didn't read the first sentence.
This is an XBOX BOX! IT does not include the console, hard drive, etc...
He is telling that its just the box.

While it is advertised as a box and you'd have to be pretty stupid to skim the text and bid $611 for it, it didn't get that high on its own! Other morons must have bid for it as well!

It was a little fishy that he used a stock box photo (instead of an actual shot of his homemade box) as well as including tons of specs of the XBOX 360 covering 80% of the text. Had the auction's TITLE not said 'BOX', I would have been more symphathetic... then again, box could just be a catchall term for people searching 'x-box'!

I'd be surprised if the guy WASN'T thinking that someone would bid on this auction seriously... and he just let it happen and rack up to $611. eBay didn't do a thing even though the situation is obvious. Pretty shitty moderation there.

This looks like a hoax to me. Notice how both users had low feedback scores.. in fact... all bidders had relatively low scores...

I'm almost certain this was just a gag... maybe the same guy owned both accounts....

im thinking the same thing. based on my uber ebay skillz, I have concluded its just too retarded to be true. there's too much wrong with the auction and the bidders

Yup, Personally I think every auction should be checked before it goes on for them bastards that write in text size 1 right at the bottom of the page after they have written a ESSAY on the Specifications and filled page with Googled Images You are only bidding on a link to where you can buy the phone / PSP / Xbox etc and people who set postage to £15 and Required Insurance to £20 on something like a 1GB Pro Duo stick!!!!!

Well. There was one that read it. And maybe there was something a little fishy earlier in the auction ...

I don't get what the big deal is here, it specificly says box only in many places, the buyer is a fool. Ebay didn't need to do anything...

Also note - no negative feedback. I wonder what happened, I doubt the buyer actually bought it or else very angry negative feedback would probally have been left as well as massive complaints to ebay...
