Could anybody tell me what sort of sub the gp2x can play? I have load of soft subs, but they are in several differnt formats, ive tried a few of the more common ones, but it doesnt seem to work. Any info would be good.

Get hard subs, I dont think softies work currently :p Or fuse the sub with the media file with a program..

My GP2X arrived today!!!

Been playing around with it, had to test subtitles, of course.
guess what, it works ^_^

initial report:
.smi - no go
.srt - yes, seems to work
.ssa - works, but occasionally goes off the screen and always has "!Effect." at the beginning of each line, and always shows this, even when theres no dialog.

I'll be trying to figure out EXACTLY what works and what doesnt over the next couple of days.
