the gp32 could definatly be used for a tool for phreaking ( kinda like hacking but with phones) my friend and i are going to make a dailer and a tone generater but we were also wondering if we could get help with other ideas and maybe turning the gp32 into a phone and or a beige box

Hopefully the speakers will be loud and clear enough for DTMF tones. If you get a working version, let me know. Red boxing still works just fine here.

sorry if this is stoopid but.... what is all this red box blue box grey box stuff???all i know is that billy gate$ had something to do with a blue box and a captain cruch whistle  .... but whats the deal???

Stay away from the boxes. For one they mostly prefer American phones, for second they are mostly outdated. I'm not in the phreaking scene anymore so I might as well shut up now, though.

The're a way to use phone boxes for free internet :) I'm not going to tell how but if you already got broadband it's useless but fun :)

oh, well i guess i will bask in the glory of my broadband :p any sites? this sounds like it would be pretty fun project...

Hmm, I already started a small DTMF dialer because someone from this thread asked for one. You can find the dialer here.

My only problem is that I can not test this program properly. I ripped the
DTMF samples from the net but they are not that good (lot of backnoise).
Also I don't know if my phone system still supports DTMF. And thirdly the
only phone I have in my computer room is a Mario-phone  don't know about
the reliability on that one.

So if you have the ability to test this program please let me know the results.
Also if you have a good sample set with DTMF tones please contact me.
I can be contacted at VirtuaLeech@jpopmail.com.

Phonebook support wil be added if I know that the dialer works.
