In the wired magazine article, I got the impression that these games were produced under contract from gph and would not be 'commercial'

can anybody confirm this?
(I'm going to have to reread that article)
 
seems like mode 7 for me, the gp2x can do much more i think. still it looks good and if it plays like mario kart i will sure buy it.

Hardware mode 7 type effects? I kind doubt it.. since I've never heard of it before on the GP2X.


if it's software mode 7 it don't mean jack as any system can do software mode 7.
Point is that software mode 7 or anything takes cpu cycles and it's not "free" or "accelerated"

What?
We're saying that it's not 3d, but mode7, and the gp2x is more than capable of it, We've had a few mode7 ganes on gp32.
Still looks nice though
