Does The Gp2x Support C Or C++

ok so thats cool thanks... oh and it is not showing avatars on here for me? Is that just me?

no its all of us for some reason they went down the other day i think someone said it was something to do with the site that hosted them but i carnt remember

It'll "support" any language that there is a (cross)compiler available for that can output ARM machine code, or in the case of interpreted languages, any language there is an interpreter available for the GP2X for. At the minute, this basically is just C(++) though ;) (not counting interpreted) Unless I've gotten a massive misconception into my head about compilers and languages.

No, you're pretty much right on the money. However, given the two-pass nature of the GCC (which nowadays stands for GNU Compiler Collection rather than GNU C Compiler), I would think that the rest of the front-ends for GCC (Fortran, Java, Objective C, etc.) could be built if anyone wanted them. Although why anyone would want to code in Java when we already have C++ is beyond me. (Donning flameproof suit.)

By default, it will print the result to the serial port. If you are running sterm, you will see the result on screen. If you are using the USB serial module, it will be printed to the USB port.

As a script?
It wouldn't work because it's not shell script.

If you complied it... it would probably print it to the virtual console, or something...

EDIT: Someone beat me too it, unless the serial is the virtual console (which might be true) I'm wrong.
