Just to mention that it's still a very early port made by A600 (with a little help of KaosOverride and me), but it works quite nicely: perfect gfx, almost perfect sound, and shitty controls (no diagonals for now). START exits.

To run it, create a script like this:
Code:
mount /mnt/sd -o remount,sync
cd /mnt/sd
/mnt/sd/fmsx.gpe name_of_the_game.rom
mount /mnt/sd -o remount,async
cd /usr/gp2x/
/usr/gp2x/gp2xmenu

For now, the emulator _MUST_ be in the SD root.

I know it's a joke, but come on... was it really necessary?

It didn't make me feel bad at all. Just thought it was pointless... Sorry about the off-topic.

I'm sorry for bringing "bad" news, but I got some advise about the "licensing" way of the source code of fMSX. It's not "public domain", just some kind of only "public visible but not moddificable" but the author ask people to contact him for porting (that's why i retired my diagonal supporting build from gp32spain). I think his good intntion is not to have hundreds of variations of his code throught the cyberspace... Someone from gp32spain ported it to dreamcast and he was allowed by the autor for binary distribution but not for source... So I'm sorry but till w have some kind of permission for binary or source, I'm not able to release my moddifications :(

the pity is that I was not intended to support this port, just giving a little help only, so I don't think it's a good idea to gain permissions for me and leave the emu half ported... Is best to speak between us, decide who is going to mantain the port, and ask permission, then we will cross sources to gain the best options for the port into one and the rest could help the one who is doing the "official" port but as I see, source should be "restricted" :(

Again, sorry!!

Any way... You take the original source, you take the SDL patches, take sysGP2x.h and sysGP2x.c from GP2xRick ;), make some little changes in keyboard/joystick SDL_events and in little time you can have a Gp2x with diagonal support ^^
