Well since SNESX9 was a big let down, I was wondering why you stopped developing your emu. Also do you have any plans of starting back up, if not would you sell me the source code?

Maybe he can release the source. Snesemu is pretty fast and if someone could put save stats in it would be great :p

Agreed as well.

Why not release the source if hte project is discontinued?

HZ

I think that we all agree that he should release the source code of snes emu, because it is discontinued. Do you guys think he will read this thread and respond? I hope he does.

I still havent got a GP32, but I have heard good things about SNESemu. Was it really good? I am saddened that he stopped work on it if it was, especially if it was only because it was leaked.

It was great. Like all the games I tried ran full speed without sound smoothly.

speed is great - but everything is frameskipped. that means not smoothly
(and still slower than an actual snes)
i tried lots of roms, maybe 2 ran at (apparent) fullspeed - punchout and cameltry.

but, many games are smooth enough to honestly enjoy.

sucks --
1. no savestates
2. no button remapping
3. no gamma options

but, a wonderful +very playable emulator.
(all konami + capcom games i tried seemed excessively slow..)

Yeah, the one thing I really can't wait for is save states in more emus. I am kind of surprised, it seems like I got into the GP32 about the right time, with so many things being worked on! :D
