Using Ac While Batteries In.

Might be a ridiculous question, but I'm clueless about these things. I trawled this board and used the search engine, but couldn't find any reference to this.

If you run the GP2X from the AC adapter while there are still batteries inside, can it hurt the batteries in any way?

I don't imagine it could, but I'd like to be sure.

I don't think so. I've been doing it for ages.

I think that when you plug the AC jack into the GP2X it phisically disconnects the batteries somehow. Found this out by plugging the jack without powering the AC power supply: the GP2X wouldn't turn on (even with charged batteries in it). So I guess there's no problem in doing it :)
 
I never leave batteries in anything that I am connecting power to (except if it is needed...like to charge my camera) as I just do not feel right about it. But, I guess whatever floats your boat. I have never heard of anything bad happening to the GP2X by doing so...
