Just a note to say i've not abandoned my mame port, i have just been a bit busy. Today I started it again, from scratch, with the goal of porting a more recent version. As we know from my last little demo the gp32 can run the z80 based games full speed so hopfully in the next couple of weeks i should be able to post something more complete (hahaha famous last words).

I have a version that ran a few more games (phoenix and pacman hardware) but its a mess thats why i'm starting again and i'm going to try not to hack it this time.

I'm well aware other people are working on mame ports - the more the better - then one of us should get it working!

Cool Craig! Keep it up! I don't have much else to say, but I just wanted to voice my support. :D

:D Greaaaaaaaat man ! It's really cool to have news like this... Like i have already read in this forum, developers who give news about their projects are welcome ! Keep your good job on ! We're all with you (so i hope you've not got a too small apartment :D !!)! And to resume in a word : THANX !

YEEEEES mame will be continued !!! good luck and thank you Craigix !!!! :)

Great news! I have been doing some prelim work on a port.

Any chance of getting a look at your source (old or new, or just the diffs)?

As soon as my nephew pays me for my old laptop I'll order my gp32 and get to work.

wow that's great news, would love to see more games supported in mame for the gp32, what do you tihnk the chances of getting more modern stuff (well it's all relative I know) like green beret, kung fu master, jail break etc. emulated in GP32 are?

Would love a mame emulator for my gp32, spent waaay to much time in the arcades as a child (brought up on the uk coast)

All the best on your new emulator Craig
