hi guys,

im seriously considering purchasing a gp32 today, could anybody tell me where to get one in the uk?

also i have been reading some of the posts on what the machine is capable off, how easy is it to make the movies for the machine? i currently use pvauthor to convert simpsons, southpark etc.etc to run on my motorola a835 on three. is it the same procedure? what file eg. divx, xvid, avi? does the movie have to be converted to?

i gotta work christmas eve and not finish till midday christmas day so i was gonna do a few films to see me through the boredom.

also, a good old game of doom and heretic wouldn't go a miss! :D

thanks for any help u can provide.

Hi chipy, and welcome to the club. It sounds like you know everything you need to know about video conversion, you really shouldn't have a problem at all with GP Cinema! But to read some detailed instructions on how to encode properly for the GP32, head on over to http://faq.gp32emu.com/. Check out the Movie Park guide, but keep in mind GP Cinema allows you to divide by 2 (not simply 3), to view your movies @ 15 fps.

Yeah, Doom and Heretic are a blast. But of course don't miss the all the emulators found on gp32emu and gp32x -- the current buzz is yoyo and team's new snes emulator.

Enjoy!

Not to change the subject, but I thought Heretic on the GP32 was hardly playable??

If you've ordered it from gbax.com you should recieve a cd with it containing a load of emu's and other stuff on :)
I that so? Cool shit, especially 'cause I'm expecting my GP32 (FLU B) ) to arrive tomorrow :)

Yeah, UPS charged me £30 on my doorstep, I was not ammused. Plus I was living like five minutes away from www.gbax.com at the time.

Doh!
