Hi all,

I've just made a music player.
It supports WMA as well as MP3.

wma_mp3.fxe

Copy your MP3 & WMA files in to MP3 folder and enjoy music.

A. MP3 player
- MPEG1,MPEG2,MPEG2.5 Layer 3.
- VBR also can play back with correct length. :D
- Can play from 32Kbps to 320Kbps bit-rate.
- Tested only 44.1Khz and 22.05Khz sample-rate.

B. WMA player
- Media 7/9 format compatible.
- 32kbps,64kbps,128kbps,192kbps are test.
- There are some tick noises. :(
------------------------------------------------------------

There is no UI yet.

Next version will(may) have below features.
- Improved WMA sound quality.
- Seek(fast-forwar/fast-rewind) function.
- Better UI.

Thank you so much Mr.Mirko & Mr.Spiv.

Enjoy GP.

This is a brilliant alpha-release!! Sound quality is good. There are some tick noises, yes,
but I´ve only noticed them during the first two seconds of most songs.

And best of all - WMA VBR is supported (tested up to 215 kbit/s).

I love it.

very nice indeed, very good sound quality, fast forwarding and rewinding is something I'm looking forward to if you created an equaliser with settings like winamp has I'd like this even better :)

nice work indeed

It just so happens to be I'm writing an interface lib for music players, using winamp skins :)

http://elektron.ewi.tudelft.nl/~brouwe25/skin.jpg

atm it plays .mod files only, but perhaps I could implement this mp3/wma player?

/Inopia
Wouldn't that rock :D
Hey, maybe you could get a few more people on board too and create the GP32's first unified player!

(Sid, mod, MP3, WMA, OGG, and possibly mid if you can be bothered to make it 8 megs...)

Well, I can dream, at least :)

Wow, that looks sweet, Inopia. :) Nice touch for picking the Ojuice-skin. :p

As for "unified" players, with a little bit of luck we can look forward to GP32-support in the "official" libmikmod distribution soon. So that should ease MOD/S3M/XM/IT/whatever integration. ;)

It seems to only recognise 12 files any after that it just doesnt pick up.
No matter how many wma files there are it still says 12 files, is this a bug or is there a different reason?
Good work though sounds great so far!
thanks

Yea thats the smae with me, plus it doesnt even play all of those 12 songs

Doesn't even play any of my mp3s. I have 17 on the smc, and it finds them, lists them and then says "Press A". Press A and the screen goes white and nothing happens.

how comes midi playing takes so much space (like in lapolla player) and needs much time to load the song?
on gba there is a player which plays the songs directly and the loader is a few kb only.

ah and yes the player is great but im still using yogg due to the space :)

Hi all,

I'm porting OGG-VORBIS tremor code to ADS compiler.
It may take about 2~3 weeks.

The bug of 12-files limitation will be fixed also.

UI is also under development.

0.4 version can be released by middle of April.
- ogg play back.
- no number of file limitation
- better UI
- seek function (if possible)

Please be patient.
I can code only weekend.

Thanks,

MP3, WMA AND OGG? Yeehaw! This is going to be a fovorite of many an audiophile who does not want to convert their files. Me included!

Although I really hate to use the expression: this DOES rock! B)
