Opensnes9xz Released

What makes you think that a two months old zodiac release is GP32 news?

I think the general preception is that being a Zodiac emulator it's pretty pointless to get excited unless a version of it is released for the GP32 with a noticable improvement in gameplay.

Fir all anyone knows it could be the same thing we already have now on a different platform.

All I can say is Yoyo is doing both communities a great deal of work, since I for one can't program a emulator (Coding skills aren't what they use to be over the past 10 or so years) I appreciate his work thus far and will wait for the next release... As far as the Zodic goes that's news in it's own, since some people here think porting from one to the other is some what simple if he's working on one or the other then GREAT :)

Thank you to all the Emulator Programmers greatly appreciated over here :D

I get to play all the games I own on the go B)

yeh, lets not do the whole sega vs nintendo thing!

i only own a gp but constntly monitor the Zed's progress. what with the 68000 emu dev and things like a beetter snes potential, people would be stupid to ignore it. if final burn happens for smaller RAM games ll be getting one.

also, dev works may also filter down to the GP.

Surely a Zodiac release is a good thing seeing as how it can be easily ported to the GP32? If the Z version runs better than the one we have now (transparency *crosses fingers*) then this a potentially good thing for BOTH communities.

Exactly my point, it's only worth noting for us if there's an improvement, does anyone know if it supports any features we dont already have? if not then we just sit and wait untill it does.

i don't no
it just seemed important
he does code for gp32
If it's two months old, wouldn't you think that pretty much everybody would already know about it? I mean, it's Yoyo we're talking about. We've been aware of the Zodiac since it came out and aware of Yoyo's projects. When one our best coders that we are all aware of codes an EMU for another handheld for which we have been aware of and created several threads about, we would know that it happend.

and for a long time before.........

yeah weve all been aware of the z's opensnes release for a while now. U need to be a dev to use it tho.

Ah... GP32 -> Zodiac, but what about the other direction? Especially if he took advantage of all the Palm window manager stuff, touchscreen or extra buttons!
