    Release Diablo 2

OK then, thanks so much. It's really one of the best ports here in Pandyland. :)

    Release Diablo 2

And how about an older executable (1.10 for example, but some mods require older or newer executables) and support for D2SE mod format? Sorry to assault you, I know what is there is fantastic anyway. Just wondering about possibilities.

    Release Diablo 2

This is amazing! Even mods work, I'm playing D2 right now with the Perfect Drop Mod (ideal for on-the-go playthroughs, because it almost completely removes grinding from the game) and everything's working as it should. The only thing missing now are 3dfx lightning effects, but that's hardly...

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

Yeah, to make the emulators speed up games to 60 Hz, it's not really noticeable and doesn't skip. :) Or maybe something like sync to audio, so that there's a double frame once in a while, but the sound itself is not skipping?

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

I was covering it live on IRC a year and a half ago or so, I believe it was you who instructed me on overclocking and congratulated for the result back then ;D. I'm running my Pandy at this speed to this day and I didn't have a single hang or glitch. Also, there's a simple proof that it's not...

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

Well, that's what happened. I let it run overnight, and it was still going at it in the morning. It hangs at 1305 MHz though.

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

I ran CPU Stress for 12 hours @ 1.3 GHz. My Pandy is just that awesome. ;) And, as I said, the skips are very, very minor, I wouldn't be surprised if others didn't notice them. @ptitSeb, is it possible to change this behaviour?

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

Sorry for double posting, but I think I got the "why" - it's only happening in NTSC games. PAL games don't skip. So, my interpretation is this: since PAL games run at 50 Hz, Pandora sets the screen to 50 Hz, and nothing is lost. For NTSC, the refresh rate remains at 60 Hz, but NTSC games...

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

Yes. Maybe others too, but I only tested PCE, MD, NES and SNES.

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

I overstated the problem. Previously, I was FTPing in the background, which apparently makes audio in everything skip. I'm using PCE, MD, NES and SNES emulators, PCE and MD are fine when there's nothing going on in the backround. I tested this more thoroughly on a freshly booted...

    Some Screenshots from Pyra OS?

Gala is the name of the WM, its compositing features are based on libmutter, but I believe it can run without them, although I haven't tested it. But if not - it's Linux, you can just swap Gala for whatever you wish. Still, compositing in Pantheon/Gala is done very conservatively, nothing...

    Some Screenshots from Pyra OS?

Yes, it uses GTK3, but it's much lighter than Gnome 3 (it's just a bit similar in the design department). I don't have the numbers, but I used both XFCE and Pantheon on my 1st gen Atom netbook and they performed very much alike. "Non-native" apps also run just fine, it's a fully functional DE...

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

Thanks for that xset bit, awesome. You're the best, guys. But what about the audio? Is it only me? I'm pretty sure it didn't do this in previous versions, but if no one experiences this stutter (as I said, it's extremely minor and hard to notice, but it's there, even for the NES and PCE. It's...

Release Emu EX Plus Alpha ported to the Pandora

It also freezes for me. It also happens when I leave the emulator open and do not touch any buttons for a period of time - the screen goes black and the whole OS freezes. It's a bit annoying, but manageable. There's also another issue - audio skips every now and then. It's barely noticeable, a...

    Some Screenshots from Pyra OS?

Just a thought - did you guys look at the Elementary OS desktop? Its footprint is somewhere around XFCE, but it's much more streamlined and looks better too (IMO).
