At this moment in time I would like to ask for you to possibly implement the rom ram function so populous works :D I have also noticed the menu is a bit wrong, the numbers and some of the A games start at the bottom of the list.
Yet again the community is blessed with an amazing dev who is...
Games that i play the most are Galaga 88, Gunhed. Parasol Stars and the Bomberman games. There are quite a few good CD games as well. Can't wait till it's possible in HU6280. :D
The thing i play constantly is my beloved pcengine core II with super cd-rom add on.
My favourite game at the moment is the cd version of populous and promised lands along with rainbow islands and parasol stars. I'm glad someone has released a pcengine emulator on the gp2x :D
Do you get flicker with batteries? and using a psu, does it go away?
I believe the issue may be with the soldering of the battery terminals. If the problem still persists when using a psu it may be a problem with the lcd or the board design.
I beg to differ. Some of the problems concerning the batteries is the issue of the soldering of the contacts to the pcb. ( search for my other posts and let me know what you think).
Another thing can some let us know if the screen flickering issues go away if you use a psu instead...
It sounds like you have very poor soldering on the battery contacts.
From the pictures floating around of the insides of the gp2x you can see that there is an issue here. I can understand they are trying to make a compact device and as you quite rightly said 'it is tiny' but I cant...

I believe that the gp2x will not be able to use SDIO devices. The power requirements and current drain will probably be too much for the current circuit design. I guess some people may try but it needs to be officially confirmed if it is at all possible.
For all you users, who may want to stray away from the comfort of your gui :P
Try this Windows XP Format Command
BTW to use this you will have to be at the command prompt. :P
(Start > Programs > Acessories > Command Prompt)
