Pandora Pandora/angstrom Running In Qemu (Incomplete Wip!)

I'm pretty sure now that the reason that the bootloader wasn't responding to keyboard input is because the beagleboard configuration doesn't actually have a keyboard configured. Or much of anything, really. So I started writing a custom Pandora board configuration. I don't know much about the...

Pandora Pandora/angstrom Running In Qemu (Incomplete Wip!)

First off: this doesn't fully work yet, so don't get your hopes up. I'm not sure if it can be made to fully work--I'm still poking at it to try and get it to work. A bit curious to see if it had been done, I poked around a bit to see if the Pandora had been run in QEMU before. I recently...

Twitterix: New Vid In The Works

I use Arch Linux on my Linux laptop. For reasons other than my username being Archaemic. E] I named the laptop pardus ages ago, after all, and it doesn't run Pardus Linux :P I use it primarily for the rolling release system.

    Who's Still Interested In Pandora?

To be honest? I'm not really sure anymore. I'm thinking of less and less stuff that I'd do with it that I can't already do with stuff I already have. Really, the only thing I can think of is playing emulated games, and who knows how long that'll last me for. Sure, I can play music, but I already...

How Can The Community Help Now?

I've heard that QtCreator really is the best IDE, but I haven't really used it much, seeing as I don't use IDEs very often (gdb ftw). I'm one of those programmers that isn't working on a Pandora project, though. Too busy with other stuff. Although I do plan to port the project I'm working on...

I Think This One Can Skip Youtube

Sure, the shape of the controller was pretty clumsy, but I really liked the D-pad, and that's what we were talking about. Also, I'm usually able to tell when I've pressed the shoulder buttons...but it's not really that obvious. Newer controllers are much better about that.

I Think This One Can Skip Youtube

I, for one, loved the Sega Saturn D-Pad. But some people don't like connected D-Pads like it had :/ But of course, it's already done being designed so I'll have to just sit back and wait to see if I approve.

    Nintendo 64 Emulation

I'd love to write an N64 emulator, or port Mupen64Plus, but I really don't think I have the skillset at the moment. Mupen64Plus might be worth looking into. It's open source and has multiple interpreters. An ARM dynarec one would need to be written for maximum speed, but I think possibly the...

July Is Here - When Will It Be Released

You know what they say about assumptions. They make an ass out of you and...mptions... ... No, they don't really say that, do they?

July Is Here - When Will It Be Released

Fixed that for you ;) But seriously? I'm hoping soon, but I don't think anyone has a solid idea. They keep saying two months, and we keep saying, yeah, that seems kinda realistic at this point, but it never is. But this time...!

    Windows 3.1X On Pandora

Calling Exophase a flamer? I wouldn't recommend that... Anyway, I saw someone playing a DOSBox game recently on his fairly modern laptop, and that was painfully slow. He said it ran about the same speed on his old DOS computer.

Generally this is done with Bochs, not DOSBox, so it might be a completely different story.

Sheepshaver Or Aleph One For Pandora?

Aleph One: Looks possible SheepShaver: Doesn't look possible. Assembly appears to be used in this, and the only ISAs that seem to be used are i386 or PPC, of which the Pandora is neither.
