My one is also up to 250MHz when using Ni-MH battery. But it can be up to 270MHz when using Energizer e2 Lithium battery (cannot be charged). I think it is due to the voltage of Ni-MH battery (1.2V) is lower for comparing to Energizer e2 Lithium battery (1.5V).
