I want ogg support for the Caanoo for I won't have to convert any of my audio and video to non-free formats just to listen or watch them on the Caanoo.
How do I go about making a port of GNU guile which is a scheme interpreter? I want a scheme interpreter on the Caanoo for I can have a light and fast lisp environment to work with.
Even if it is possible at all I am pretty sure that one would not be able to run a large Java program like an IDE do the ram limitation (not to mention the incompatible interface), but what do I care, I am going to teach myself C anyways just for I can eventually make the best text based games...
It's dry now. I left it near a hair dryer running cool and low for six hours. Unfortunately I noticed how cheap the LCD was. I can see the uneven lighting and blotches that darken the screen. At least it doesn't distract from games. :D
Maybe someone could recompile Phone ME for the Caanoo.

A better idea would be to get kaffe VM running on the Caanoo so we can use a useful java specification.
That does not explain how the DS and GBA have so many RPGs. Small screen resolution is no excuse when all turn based RPGs can be reduced to text due to their game mechanics. It can't be that difficult to fit all graphics, text and interfaces needed for an RPG if a small company like Atlus can do...
Will phoneME work on a Caanoo or will I have to wait for someone to port or have to learn how to program "properly" and port it my self after I understand the architecture and how a virtual machine that runs ME Java byte code.
