If pyra runs android would it still bep ossible ot port over or make wrappers for the old Pandora programs? would android rob performance being java based?
wel lthis is an interesting idea. i'm torn. i'd perfer the focus be on perofmance but, if you can fit a cheap/crap camera in there easiyl fro skype/video chat that'd be nice.
here area few things that pop in mind when i read your post. more powerfull cpus don't have to fle thier muscles as much as the CPUs prior. newer CPUs tend to have smaller a "nm" die. at full load like you said it's making way more power than the pandora has now, aka crazy 3d graphics or...
well keep in mind even decent mid range gaming computers can struggle with dolphin it's miracle it can' even run or bep orted to android.

you can get a decent tablet for cheap. i know Acer Iconcia A110 can be had for 125-175 USD used. I think they sell smart phones with out plans and used. REALLY all i want is to have really good 3d graphics i nthe new pandora.

hhhmmmmm, well it is a dual core, and it's arm v7 and it's 1.7 ghz. would this compete with ayn current phones or tablets? the gpu looks likea mild at best stepup being a PowerVR SGX544MP2 @ 532 mhz vs PowerVR SGX530 @ 200 MHz...
will there be a new pandora with a quad core? or is pandora on the decline with so many android devices out now? if there was one with a tegra 4 or quadcore snap dragon or something pandora would be o nthe leading edge again due to it's battery life and controlls.
