Long time no see!
There is a new versions of Solarus (1.1), Zelda Mystery of Solarus DX (1.7) and XD (1.7). See http://www.solarus-games.org for the changes.
I compiled Solarus, tested and improved the engine on my own Pandora in 400x240, it now works great except remaining minor...
I have just released the English translation! Here is the download page on the development blog: http://www.solarus-games.org/games/zelda-mystery-of-solarus-dx/
AleX_XelA and Rypervenche have made an amazing work. Thanks!
To check dialogs before the release, I played the whole game and fixed...
Patch applied, thanks.
AleX_XelA has finished the translation, and now the dialogs need a full verification before any release.
EDIT: I have updated the credits at the end of the game, but I'm not sure I have added all people who contributed to the English translation, please check.
I see that you made commits in your own fork: https://github.com/l...stazon/solarus.
The final step is to make a pull request so that I integrate your commits in the official repository: https://github.com/christopho/solarus.
You just have to go to your commits and press the "pull request"...
Thanks for your patch! I have only one remark: you ended some lines too soon. Recall than normal lines are limited to 23 chars and lines with icon are limited to 20. In general, we should use as much space as possible on a line.
Here is the fix : https://github.com/c...46f79eaf32f6e3c...
Okay so we forget gobby :)
The git version of the dialogs file is currently up-to-date: https://github.com/christopho/solarus/blob/master/quests/zsdx/data/languages/en/text/dialogs.lua
You can work from this version.
You can fork the project and send me your commits as pull requests, or I...
What's wrong? Did you manage to install gobby?
Anyway, if you guys know git and want to use it, I give you a write access to the repository on github and all our problems are gone ;)
Thanks for your work!
For the credits: I will add a dialog to mention people who contributed to all translations. But it's too early to add a "credits_5" dialog now. Instead, I suggest we make a comment to keep track of the contributors. We should make a comment at the beginning of the file...
You're more than welcome to contribute, we need help!
As mentioned above, the English dialog file in progress is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/12kCZt1VEFROD8x4vOYwztpooMPXEkqBfO1UR0lj1soI/edit?pli=1
and you can edit it.
Feel free to ask if you have questions.
In the last git version, I made a nice script that checks dialogs and translations. It's in tools/quest_validator/validator.lua in the git repository. It takes as paramater the quest file to check: lua validator.lua ../../quests/zsdx.
This validator does the following:
- It reads the list of...
