We've also been getting tidbits of news from Pyra users in other threads. I'm pretty curious about the thermal issues and cracked cases, and whether or not there is anything known that's going to detrimentally affect production (aside from obvious logistics, office space, staffing, etc).
If you were in the first 200, then you should have a signed, numbered PCB. Beyond that, it's just down to when (how soon after pre-orders started) you orderered (you'll be in a group, I think). I was quite a bit after the first 500, so I'm not sure myself.
Yeah, it looks like a great form factor for me, although I'm not sure how practical it would be for actual daily use. Both parts need to be charged separately, and I feel it might be awkward when combined with touch / mouse control (these are also problems that aren't applicable to Pyra) -...
That's really quite sweet, but reality (society) is a little more complicated than that.
Based on other recent comments, I'm not sure Covid is good for us re discussion either - it doesn't seem like it's been helpful or constructive in the whole.
