The general consensus is that there won't be a real need for such an emulator because most programs will be ported. Also, to make such an emulator would supposedly be nightmarish.

I would definitely rather wait until September for a stick with more travel than buy a handheld with only 1 mm travel. That stick in the video seems more like for menu navigation on a digital camera than for gaming.

Yeah, mupen64plus has been out for quite a while. IIRC, the dynamic recompiler is only suited for x86 and amd64 processors, which means there's still a lot of heavy lifting to be done before it's ready to be run on pandora's ARM processor.
