My Vaio also has this option. I've set it to charge to 50% :
The system is 4 years old now, and the battery is still in 'excellent' condition according to the battery monitoring app. So it does seem to work. Would be great if Pyra could do this too
Yeah just a normal Intel processor here, nothing exotic. That Debian Jessie thing sounds interesting, I'm going to give it a try. While it might not be exactly like what will run on Pyra, it should still give me good idea of Linux I hope. Just getting the basics of the system, installing...
Those are some good things I'm reading here guys. thanks for explaining.
I always imagined Linux to be a bit "difficult", but that doesn't appear to be the case at all.
It looks like most things I want should a piece of cake to install, excellent! So only Netflix might require some more work...
I'm following the development of the Pyra with great interest.
One thing got me thinking lately and that's the operating system. It will be some form of Linux of course. A system I have absolutely no experience with. Will there be a steep learning curve or is it easy to learn?
My inital plans...
Please don't get me wrong, that was just an observation - not a complaint. The length of the discussion just surprised me, that's all. But of course I understand what it's all for.
haha, great to see some fellow Stargate fans here! Did you guys know that Roland Emmerich is planning to reboot the franchise in the form of a movie trilogy (a restart from the beginning, completely ignoring the series!)
Excellent picture, thanks! The size differences are very clear now...
Yes, that would be great! A picture fully from the front, so without a distorting angle, if possible please, That would make comparing sizes easier. Thanks!
Hi all,
I was wondering if someone could make a scale-accurate comparision picture of the Pyra and the GCW Zero (which I currently already own)
I'm really interested in the actual size difference (especially the screen)
