Which software do you miss on Pyra?

I know there is no technical reason preventing a PS2 emulator to be ported to ARM. But the fact is that last time I checked, I could not find any PS2 emulator running on ARM CPUs. Maybe it's just nobody has tried, but the fact is that AFAIK you need an intel CPU to natively run PS2 emulators.

What dit you use your Pandora/Pyra today/the last few days

I have been using my Pandora to play Mame4All (mainly Capcom arcades). Also tried without success to configure a Bluetooth headset. About the Pyra, I still do not use it too much, I am waiting until OS support matures a bit.

Which software do you miss on Pyra?

I miss a PS2 emulator. But I think these are difficult to see on non-intel machines, right?

    Suspending keeps backlight on

I have just received my Pyra and was playing with it and found that when I suspend the device, the backlight of both the screen and the keyboard is not shut down and continues wasting battery. Not the most annoying of the bugs, but there it is.

    Release OpenLara

Great, I always missed this game since the first day I got my hands on the Pandora. Unfortunately GLES1 version does not work on my first batch pandora. I have added the PSX TR1 files (had to rename every file uppercase). When using GLES1 version, it loads the menu screen, but starting the game...

    Next huge milestone reached!

I had a pretty similar problem with two boards I was debugging some time ago, that were connected through an SPI bus. The problem happened only on booting: once booted, if the board started, it didn't fail anymore while powered. Sometimes some of the boards that worked at first started failing...

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

@Exophase: I have just tested The King of Fighters XIII under ArchLinux + Wine, and unfortunately it runs very slow. Even reducing the resolution and configuring the game for static backgrounds, the game runs too slow to be playable. For reference, on a 6 year old desktop I have (Core2 DUO E8400...

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

No, there's no VM. Just native ArchLinux with Steam running native Linux ports.

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

With my current install it's difficult to tell how well a "standard" desktop would run, because I have a very minimal install running i3-wm desktop. i3-wm runs light-speed, but it also does on an ancient Pentium IV laptop I have lying around. About games and emulators, I do not intend to use...

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

What kind of tests are you thinking of? As long as you do not need Windows, I can give them a try (I removed Windows and installed ArchLinux on the machine).

GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

Interesting device. Unfortunately, it isn't for me, because AFAIK Z85XX CPUs are not GNU/Linux friendly. I know it because about a month ago I wanted to buy a 10" tablet with one of these SoCs to use it as a GNU/Linux machine. I started searching Linux forums to see how it runs on these devices...

    Cannot build ch9x00_usb kernel module

It's working great now, thanks! Will it be included on next SZ release?

    Cannot build ch9x00_usb kernel module

    Tested. Unfortunately, it doesn't work (or at least I don't know how to load it).   $ uname -a Linux doragasu-pandora 3.2.69 #1123 Sun Jul 19 00:32:37 EEST 2015 armv7l GNU/Linux $ sudo insmod ch9x00.ko insmod: error inserting 'ch9x00.ko': -1 Invalid module format $ file ch9x00.ko ch9x00.ko: ELF...
