Any reason for this thread not to be pinned? I've spent days searching for it, as it's referenced from the ED's "How to install Android..." pinned thread.
Today's experience: I wanted to install Pandora System Info. Opened PNDManager, Search, found it. Click the result. Shows the big green Install button. Click. Starts downloading and the progress bar nicely completes the 100%. It then shows the previous screen with the big green Install button...
Almost any time I have to install or configure anything on Pandora. Many times stuff don't work nicely and seamlessly out of the box.
Latest experience: Yesterday I've received my upgraded Pandora (600Mhz -> 1Ghz plus silver case). I thought it would be a good idea to update some software and...
I'm also getting these exact symptoms with the new driver. No noticeable improvements but several new problems introduced. I know that a lot of hard work is behind this one, but... you understand, I can only speak for what I see.
(Not to mention the web browsers crashing or freezing...
I've been unable to connect to any WEP yet, and I've tryed many times.
Problem is that I often need to connect to others WiFi (i.e. at friend's home), and here many routers come pre-configured with WEP (or at least Pandora detects it as WEP).
Does WEP work with this driver?
It hasn't ever worked for me. I had to switch my WLAN to WPA instead, and I couldn't access any other WEP over there, even having the correct password...
Yes, I reached the point of adding icons, but I there's no a clear "Pandora menu" item to add. What's the executable file the icon must point to?
Whoops!! Gruso answered when I was typing this reply.
Thanks!!
I accidentally had removed the File Manager icon from the Launcher bar (it seems that for some reason the right-click menu was pop-up while the cursor was over the icon, then an accidental "click" over the "remove item" option did the rest). No major problem, but yesterday the same happened with...
How can I connect Pandora to a Windows machine via USB?
I was expecting something like GP2X mounting the SD as storage device that can be accessed from Windows.
Actually, when connecting I receive a message in Windows asking for drivers...
Received mine on monday. After 2 days, here are my thoughts:
Hardware:
The good things already said about hardware also apply here. Very nice. Only found 4 annoyances:
- The lid going to full open position (aligned with base) after reaching a certain angle. There are some wide open angles I...
How did you manage it to work? The Wifi connect dialog doesn't offer any option for connecting to a WEP 64 bit (it has WEP 128, dynamic WEP, and other).
Actually here everything's working fine (old and new computers & gadgets), so I'd rather prefer keep it.
My Wifi is encrypted with WEP 64-bit, but Pandora seems to support WEP 128-bit only. Why? Is there any way to connect to my WEP 64-bit Wifi?
(Switching to 128-bit is the last option to consider)
