I get the same. stock BLU+ with fully charged batteries, fxe named correctly.
It loads, i select a ZIPped rom - tried 10 so far and I get the Loading screen and nothing else.
Looks good :
Version 1.3 of NesterGPd.
This version contains:
- More code optimization, more speed.
- Selection of conversion graphics of 8bits to true color 16bits.
- Option to erase ROMS from the same emulator (in phase beta).
- Exit bug fixed
sensi loads on DrMD but when you try to start a game it freezes/resets :-(
Shame - I had to settle for Speedball on Castaway (I know it's not soccer but it is great fun)
I have a BLU+ :
1. I get the white bar (Only on non-fixed programs). Most of the decent emu's/games have now been fixed so not really an issue
2. Yellow screen plastic??? No idea - mine looks great
3. My screen aint crooked
You will probably not be able to find a non BLU+ unit by now. There...
Yeah - what he said
RPGs and slow moving games work fine at 10fps but if you want a fast action 3d game with realtime gourad shading and "fricking lasers" then you should probably look elsewhere if you are seeing 10fps speeds
example:
I would not play Quake at 10fps because its not...
I have a GBA with a 512mbit flash card and movies play good on that but the extra space on the gp32 (twice that of a 512mbit flash card) and the better quality screen make the gp32 far superior for movies.
I'm guessing you are using the flash card device. I haven't tried that but my reencode...
Nice one. Just thought I would mention that DCIM directories are created by most digital cameras. My Canon EOS 300D creates one as does my old Fuji 1.5mp.
Incidentally the Fuji uses SmartMedia so I'm using my old cards in my GP32 now and they had DCIM directories on them!
I can get about 90 minutes of acceptable quality on a 128mb SMC but the sound is a not all that good and the frame rate could be better. Not ideal with high action movies but works okay :)
I notices with snes9xgp it can take a minute or so to start the game. Metroid took nearly a minute to give anything other than a black screen. Try upping the frame skip - should speed it up a little
Hi Malt, good to see you on another board :D - what is clear-modding? Is that just some kind of filter that sits on top of the current screen? or is it just removing the plastic film that comes as standard?
Cheers,
EvilBoB
The DS runs GBA flash cards without a problem. There is also a way of using a GBA flash card to run DS games (yes, you heard correctly)... Have a look around for the ROMs.
I haven't used my GBA since I got my GP32 for christmas - it's Soooo much better than the Nintendo...
