Actually this is only usual with Midi-In. We deal only with Midi-Out here at the moment. In the future I will upgrade the Interface also for Midi in and then i will include isolators of course.
I just released a new version of the GP2x Midi Interface for the LittlePiggyTracker.
In the new version it is possible to use all Midi-Commandos now. So LGPT can be used as a little Handheld Midi-Sequencer.
If someone like to add Midi to her/his Application, it is no problem with the GP2x-Midi...
Of course this would be a easier solution! The only reason i started with my midi-box is, that there was nothing available yet and i needed one :)
Maybe i get a point for the price, since i don't need alot of components ;)
I just added my first version of the new Midi-Interface for GP2x.
It works at the moment with LittleGpTracker but it's also simply possible to optimize other software to use it.
At the moment only Midi-Out is supported, but Midi-In will be added aswell.
Info...
Of course, fire is here!!!
A bit late for this now, but anyway.
I will release the midi-interface for Midi-Out within the next days. It's a very little circuit with a uController connected to the Gp2X Ext port. At the moment it supports only Midi-Out but Midi-In will be included aswell.
It...
It's in very early state, i'm gonna check it a bit further, cause also the Midi-Out thing is just one part of the interface which should be done. The other part will be a direct output (maybe input) to/from the gameboy for syncronizing.
YO firestARTer
Yo geezers,
i think the cable would work for that. But quite some money to pay for it.
Anyway, it might be a good secure way to start with.
Meanwhile, i'm going to check the GP32 ports.
firestARTer :-)
Yep, i also tried to run lsdj on my gp32 and if you ask me i would say it's useless here. I made alot of tracks with lsdj on a real gameboy and can compare it quite good.
First, the biggest problem is to work with it on my Blu+ as alot of functions need 'select' + up / down ....etc.
And...
