Let''s Make Up Pandora Marketing Slogans!

Hope is still in the box. Not really sure it's any good, even though it plays on the myth. ... ... Still terrible. I don't know what it implies.

Let''s Make Up Pandora Marketing Slogans!

Pandora, guaranteed to blow your mind or at least have you speaking in gibberish. Probably cause some other sorts of mental breakdown as well. On second thought, maybe the world is not yet ready for Pandora.

    Pandora. Panriffic. Pan-freaking-riffic.

    Pandora''s Type Classification

Before this thread gets killed for ambling off into rambling (only an observation that there isn't a certain cohesiveness to the discussion, not anybody's fault), I want to point out that this thread has only reaffirmed the difficulty in categorizing the Pandora. It would be really nice to stop...

    Pandora''s Type Classification

I think I might start calling the Pandora the hobbyist's handheld (if nothing else it has alliterative qualities). I think it is important to not overlook that the Pandora represents more than just hardware. The software options and the community define it as much as anything else.

    Pandora''s Type Classification

Apologies for my previous post, it was a bit hasty. However, after taking the time to look at previous discussions and articles, I am still wondering what sort of summary would be sent to potential reviewers? As near as I can see, the Pandora is a rebirth of the hobbyist computer and also...

    Pandora''s Type Classification

Without a precise definition that has instant recognition, perhaps a catchy slogan could help raise awareness? For example, Pandora. A complete workout for your thumbs. Anytime. Anywhere. Open Pandora. Redefine freedom. Pandora. Your mobile gateway. Pandora. Life. Neither the...

    Pandora''s Type Classification

Any chance that the Pandora is unique enough to be in a class by itself? Instead of bothering with other classifications, we could call it a Pandora class/type device. I suppose that does not really clear up the confusion when explaining it to someone else . . . (What is it? A Pandora. What...

    Dcemu Homebrew Article Mentions Pandora

On reviewing my post, I apologize for any wording which may have made it sound anti-HLE and pro-LLE. Neither approach is inherently better than the other. I just wanted to try to clear up some misunderstanding of terms. If anyone wants further clarifcation of the difference, I could explain...

    Dcemu Homebrew Article Mentions Pandora

To clear up HLE just a little bit for some of the less nuts and bolts savvy types, HLE is a legitmate approach but rests on the assumption that you know exactly what the program expects to happen. Even if you had the source code for the game, this can be impossible to determine. HLE has...

I find it humorous to be "bike shedding" the bike shed.

    N64 Anyone?

I must admit I have rather high expectations for playability as well. I would prefer to define it as providing the same experience as the original. I cannot recall any emulator where Paper Mario came close to a really enjoyable experience. So in my opinion I would not consider it to really be...

    N64 Anyone?

I had been wondering if some of this might be better suited for the development forum. I have no lingering doubts as to the demand for N64 emulation. If you want something soon (sooner?), I would recommend finding a dev willing to port Daedalus, as I am not looking to do it ( I would prefer to...

    N64 Anyone?

Thank you very much for your evaluation Exophase. I was hoping for this kind of response. You also suggested to me some of the terminology I was grasping to find, although unfortunately not quite in the same sense in which you used it. As we are talking about compilation, it makes perfect...

    N64 Anyone?

Only the silent developer would know. I don't think the speculation causes any harm either, but I would rather an accurate picture to avoid disappointments. I like to be pleasantly surprised when the unexpected arrives out of nowhere, instead of slowly let down when the eagerly anticipated...
