The large numbers of pigeons found in cities were relying on rubbish too, so most likely pigeons are also dying of starvation.

Need advice for Javascript environment to use

If you clean it up into readable code that also works, you don't necessarily have to put it back afterwards. If it's using ES6+, looks like you can do multi-line strings with backticks. Otherwise the options are a little messier.

Need advice for Javascript environment to use

People write the code in a human-readable way, and then it gets "minified" for the final output. It's supposed to run more efficiently. (And if someone doesn't provide source code, either they like the obfuscation or they don't care.) For example, compare https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.5.1.js...

    Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Please stay safe, y'all

Here, the most common reason people are going near each other is to buy food. The shops are doing their best to space people out, but it still seems rather dodgy. A lot of these people would be happy to order delivery if it was easily available. We don't need a tougher lockdown, we need enough...

That's good news. I'd been hearing that the rules were unclear, and in some places the police were harassing people arbitrarily.

I mean, going to the shop and buying food more often than they really need to.

If you ban going outside to exercise, but allow people to go to the shops to buy food, then people will go to the shops when they don't need food. I think it's much better to allow people to go outside, with some measures to keep them spread out.

    Thought of the day...

I don't mind people slurping, but chewing with mouth open disgusts me. Generally, I'll find something a lot more irritating if I believe people shouldn't do it, which is a thing I have some control over. If you want to stop being irritated by something, it could be worth considering.

I apologise for making a "don't panic" post earlier. Not just because I'm now worried too, but more because of reading things like these: http://www.psandman.com/col/teachable.htm https://www.reddit.com/r/China_Flu/comments/fcqjog/stop_telling_us_not_to_panic_we_need_to_face_our/

Big companies have a lot of power. And they're polluting your food and water and the air you breathe, which I suppose is also putting things in your body without your consent.

Don't panic too much yet. The things that are most likely to kill you don't get so much time in the news. https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/the-top-10-causes-of-death (Respiratory infections are quite high up, but that includes things like the common flu.)

    Release Pandora Recovery SD-Card image

My CC Pandora would boot the OS from NAND, but would hang when it tried to show the R-shoulder boot menu or boot an SD card having autoboot.txt. I suspected a slight corruption in u-boot. The suggested way of booting the recovery card didn't work even after an orderly shutdown. Eventually, I...

    Release Pandora Recovery SD-Card image

OK, thanks for clarifying that! I tried a bunch of times and that definitely didn't work for me, and then taking the battery out did work. (PANDORA + Power Switch does normally restart the unit, so no hardware problems there.) ... And it just occurred to me that maybe I had some kind of power...

    Release Pandora Recovery SD-Card image

@EvilDragon Thanks for your work so far! The above doesn't work on my CC unit. (As I noted earlier, it will appear to work if there's a good bootloader on the NAND.) The following, however, did work: a) Remove the battery. b) Put the recovery card into the left SD Card slot. c) Press and hold...
