Hi guys. Has anyone managed to get Pilotwings working on a SNES emulator? With mine the menus run pretty quick but the gameplay is terrible. It didn't have the extra chip in the cart or anything did it?

Anyone thought about porting LIRC to the GP2X? Using a USB IR adaptor with the GP2X as a media center would be sweet!! Not sure what you would need to do to mplayer to accept IR commands from a remote though. Just an idea!!

I just had a go with the latest Freedo.. It works very nicely with Star Fighter but I don't have anymore ISOs to test and I can't be bothered with a 39gig torrent!

Using the built in USB networking and Samba in 2.0.0 seems fairly reliable to me.. Never had a problem with it and used it for a while before I could 'acquire' a card reader from somewhere...

Can I ask why?? You would have to cross compile it using the gp2x devkit on your pc. Check the wiki on how to set up a compiler.. Then give it a go I guess!

I had to read through it a few times but I think I understand it now.. I think it means that if the game is commercial but if it is using GPL software it will not be allowed.. But open source is permitted but you must uphold the rules of the GPL. Any clearer? Anyone else like to contribute...
