Tens of thousands of people have watched me play on my Pandora

I'm attending AGDQ 2016, and during setup times they point a camera at the audience. Yesterday I sat somewhere reasonably visible and played Spyro 2 on my Pandora, practicing some various speedrunning strats. Anyway, that's me, the big lump on the side of the screen, with a 1GHz Pandora in my...

Release PCSX ReARMed r22 - now using the DSP

Actually--nevermind!  That rendering bug happens on the PS2 as well.  I'm watching Beuchiism's stream today and I've seen it a couple times. Maybe, possibly?, the PS1 doesn't have the bug, it only happens with emulators.  But the PS2 is the gold standard in emulation, so I think there's a good...

    Release Diablo

Just putting this here; this project is at a very early stage and is hardly a replacement for notaz's amazing work. But... maybe someday. http://freeablo.org/

More Pandoras soon at the shop!

Will ithic have them in stock too, or will us Yankees need to order from Germany?

Release PCSX ReARMed r22 - now using the DSP

Lovely!  And happy new year! FWIW the minor graphics glitch I reported in Spyro 3 isn't fixed: http://boards.openpandora.org/topic/6546-pcsx-rearmed-with-a-new-gpu/?p=349112 It's totally not a big deal.  It's visual only, doesn't impact playing the game.  I just thought I'd remind you of its...

    Release Vice C64 Emulator 2.3.23

Okay, that works. However: VICE's file picker doesn't understand symlinks to directories.  I put in a symlink to a valid "roms" directory elsewhere on the filesystem.  VICE treats the symlink like a file--"not a valid cart image", attempts to load it if I automount it, etc.  Not your bug, but...

    Release Vice C64 Emulator 2.3.23

Because its default directory is in the filesystem mounted from the PND file.  I'd have to hack up the PND file to put one in.

    Release Vice C64 Emulator 2.3.23

I read through the thread but must have missed it (if there was a resolution)--is there any way to get VICE to remember the ROM directory?

Release PCSX ReARMed, with a new GPU

Also, are you interested in corrupted save files?  I have a save file for Frogger 2 that doesn't display a screenshot, and if I attempt to load it pcsx-rearmed crashes.  I guarantee it was created several versions ago. (Probably not interesting, but I thought I'd offer.)

Release PCSX ReARMed, with a new GPU

At last, here's the save file with the graphics glitch seen in Spyro 3. spyro.3.scus94467.gfx.glitch.zip

    Aluminium Case being made!

Will the case do anything to prevent shoulder button damage?  I've dropped my Pandoras and broken the shoulder buttons several times.  It seems like if anything the aluminum case, being heavier, would only make the problem worse. Not that that would dissuade me from ordering one, mind you.

Release PCSX ReARMed, with a new GPU

notaz, you interested in a minor, minor!, but repeatable graphics glitch? In Spyro 3, when you rescue an egg underwater, the hatched baby dragon is drawn floating inside a white bubble (of air).  When the baby dragon disappears, half of the bubble goes black. I have a savegame that...

Do you get rumble with PCSX-Rearmed?

Release PCSX ReARMed, with a new GPU

I just had what I can only describe as a wacky idea. The Pandora doesn't have a vibration motor.  While that's probably for the best, there are some games where vibration is helpful or maybe just cool. First, a mildly sane idea: how about adding a visual cue indicating when the vibration...
