New to Pyra, Debian Bookworm bugs?

I see the audio driver thread. Definitely something going on there. Another item, the Pyra does not seem to recognize my Corsair wireless keyboard and mouse dongles.

New to Pyra, Debian Bookworm bugs?

Hello all, I just got a secondhand Pyra and learning all of the things about the system. I loaded a fresh installation of Debian Bookworm. Two items I have noticed. Only the left stereo channel plays audio. The edges of the digitizer are not detected even after recalibration. I can tap...

    Rhythmbox on the Pyra

Now that I got a Pyra, I was easily able to install Rhythmbox from the Debian repository. Please disregard request :)

    Rhythmbox on the Pyra

Has anyone installed Rythmbox on the Pyra? I would be interested in using the Pyra to load and manage music on my iPod. Would this be the appropriate place to request a port for the Pyra?

Need help finding Cacko 1.23 ROM for Sharp Zaurus

Greetings, I'm having a hard time finding a copy of the Cacko 1.23 ROM for the Sharp Zaurus SL-C1000. There does not appear to be any active mirrors. I would also gladly accept any Zaurus software as well :)

    Send keystrokes to other device?

I'm imagining using the Pandora as an offline digital password manager. It would be nice to be able to connect it to a computer using USB and having a database of accounts/passwords and tapping a button to transmit the text to the host computer. I know the Flipper can transmit text files like...

So where are we with the Pyra--really?

So where are we with the Pyra--really?

I ordered mine March 23, 2020. Nothing yet. So many setbacks on this project. My understanding is that they are being produced at a loss. The CPU may be dated but I still find the form factor appealing.

    Hardware Repair

Is the trigger hardware missing? I've had to repair one of my triggers, it broke off the solder pad. I resoldered it and all was good.

    USB Wireless AC (802.11ac) Support?

Wondering if there is any update on this. I saw the wiki page but I'm hoping to find something with wireless ac. Otherwise I'll need to pick out a wireless n adapter.

    Display died

So I finally got around to replacing the coil. I struggled with the hot air soldering gun. This didn't work out. The original solder seemed to make a new high temperature alloy with the solder I was using. I moved to a traditional soldering iron, cleaned things up, and then was able to solder on...
