My mum completed Manic Miner - that was 28 years ago and I still haven't got past the Solar Power Generator. The shame of being a child at school in the 80s whose mum was better at Manic Miner than he was :-)
Still, it did mean that when Jet Set Willy came out she rushed out and bought it...
I had a go on Starfox in my local Game - have to admit the 3D effect was much better than I was expecting. Only played for 5 minutes though - my eyes were starting to go funny (I had the 3D slider on max).
That new add-on they've just released with the additional analogue nub smacks of...
Ahhh, well do I remember the excitement when my brother bought himself a ZX Spectrum 16K :) I can still remember sitting there as he opened it - my initial reaction being "OK there's the keyboard -w here's the rest of it?". Up till that point I had only ever seen computers in SciFi movies :)...
Well my Pandora arrived on Friday (eBay purchase - sorry guys, wasn't patient enough to wait for production to resume). Haven't had much time to play with it yet, but first impressions are very good :) Build quality is a lot better than I was expecting after having read about all the issues...
There is no news posted in this forum on a regular basis and what little that is posted is often conflicting and confusing. Direct questions are usually ignored. I simply do not believe that any business could genuinely be unable to answer such simple questions as "How many Pandora orders have...
I'm really surprised they haven't. Google automatically sent me an email asking me to rate the OpenPandora shop a few days after I ordered. I didn't bother, but you have to wonder if Google would revoke OP's ability to accept payment via Google Checkout if they receive a lot of negative...
Well, it was originally supposed to have been my 40th birthday present. I would never have paid £370 of my own money for one as I just couldn't justify that much. It was easier for me to order it than for my wife to do it, but when it became obvious it wasn't going to arrive on time she bought...
Well, I just cancelled my Premium order (ordered on the 13th of June). I notice the order page still says that orders will ship in 7 days.
I'm afraid I just don't have any confidence that deliveries will recommence any time soon. I'm not prepared to have £370 tied up indefinitely, so it's time...
That is not true for any I have watched in the past month. The last 4 that I have seen all went for £300 or less. The very last one went for £255 + £10 postage.
They've run out of boards (except for a few that ED is fixing) and CC haven't delivered any additional boards for a few weeks now (see ED's thread in the official news forum).
True, but depends on how badly someone wants that much storage. I've been keeping an eye on prices as I've been considering cancelling my premium order (it's been a month now and no prospect of it arriving any time soon from what I've seen on the forums) and buying from ebay instead.
