I really don't know much about bmp file format, though it is probably possible. Even if it is though. I think a txt file would be a wiser choice, because it would make the information easily readable and editable from outside the program.
Nice to see some progress made :) I was thinking a possible feature could be the ability to save your current coordinates, so if you found a cool section of the fractal, you could come back to it at a later time, perhaps a later version which had more rendering features. Just a thought, sorry...
I would also be interested in a Pandora kit, as I'd be taking it apart and putting it back together multiple times anyway. As far as a warrenty goes it doesn't matter to me, I've never made use of any warrenties and don't ever plan to.
wow! just took a look at your EXE. Throught the way it looked while calculating the mandelbrot was absolutly awesome! It looks like you do a certain number of iterations max per pass. Something to point out though, is if you increase or decrease the number of iterations then you only need to...
Looking really cool! I do like the idea you have for how to choose between julia sets, I hadn't thought about that. I've been messing with your source code off and on, though it's the really early version. I add gradiants and made zooming in and out more efficient(1/4 of the pixels dont need...
Really cool. I really can't answer any of your questions concerning compatibility with the Pandora, but I am interested in messing around with it. I actually have been recently messing around with a different mandelbrot fractal generator, but it doesnt support any file saving(it actually was...
Wow I must say that Pandora on N900 is excellent news!
The possibility of Pandora running Blender was actually a top 3 reason for me preordering Pandora(seriously).
I figure it'll have the horsepower to do the low poly modeling stuff I use Blender for since Pandora has all around better specs...
i took mine apart and and opened the white box and put a thin piece of foam where the joystick rests. now my joystick works great in all directions. do this at your own risk and make sure the foam is just thick enough, if it is too thick then some directions will always be pressed. test your...
