Chill... As already mentioned several times these last videos were just to show off a completed prototype of the Pandora that's actually working.
Besides that, the drivers for the graphics chip were just released some days ago by TI... so give them some time to fully implement them.
Nope I think he's it from an SD card. Only the final Angstrom will run from internal flash. Besides that it's also much easier to develop and mess around with things on an SD card :D.
I don't like to be negative here or anything: But what if there must be something modified in order get FCC and CE approval?
So I think these test must be made _before_ the final production starts... Imho that's exactly what the CNC'ed case is for.
There already were videos of angstrom and stuff running on the pandora. This last video was just to show the first completed Pandora actually working. Everyone realizing this seems to be happy about the video anyway...
AFAIK they shipped the prototype case last week so maybe it already arrived last week or it will arrive in the next days. Afterwards they'll probably just assemble it.
edit: well I actually I beleived I could eat clouds with a spoon, my television set breathed and headphone wires could move like snakes. That was a good portion of mushrooms :)
And this, my dear friends, is how drugs can destroy the lifes of stupid little kids with to big allowences...
From what I know western union and the likes are relatively expensive (even more than an international bank transfer). And it would be less secure than a bank transfer too (if that counts to you), but nontheless a viable option if OP accepts it.
First off: That's exactly what Chip said... Wait until they are ready and then you can pay using your beloved CCs. They won't force you to pay using bank transfer. So why the heck are all complaining?
From what I know there also was no promised update.
So come on guys... stop complaining for...
Because they have (sub)batches of 400. They just make 5 of these batches and all 2000 pandoras that were paid for are ready to ship. Afterwards it won't take long to make more of these batches so they are then able to accept CC orders properly.
