I came across a homebrew DOS emulator for the Nintendo DS (It's called 'DSx86')that was supposed to run Master of Orion and other games at very playable speeds. Its still being worked on it seems. Latest version was released on 6/13/10. Seems to be fairly well along and solid.
Here's the...
If the subsequent batches are more than $330 then it'll be a no-go for me unless there are alot more apps and development going on then to justify the cost. It's been a bumpy two years I know, but the tech is already aged and anything a notch more than $330 is a premium price to me. I'll let...
Thx for the nfo.
Had an idea similiar (vaguely) to this years and years ago (but no skills or time to make it happen), but it was more along the lines of a multi-player 'Dungeon Keeper' where one person would control everything realtime (the monsters, the traps (magical and/or otherwise)...
Some interesting ideas.
What does everyone think about development/design/hardware choicing for the Pandora 2 (I'm assuming that the P1 will be released and will be moderately successful compared to the GP32X releases) being worked on?
Would it signifigantly reduce the development time if...
One of the primary interests in the Pandora for me was as a PMP replacement with ancillary laptop application
uses in a compact form. So I hope to get lots of video play time out of it.
If an application is available, I'd want to use it to read Comic books or Manga as well.
And clarifying...
There are alot of good comebacks that I'd love to use elsewhere. Seriously, some of you guys are pros at
trolling and one-up-manship.
Its gotta be good for laughs at least if nothing else. :P
NIIIICCCE! Been dropping by for the past few months (I'm still pulling that you guys'll actually pull this off!) and just wanted to add to the general positive acclaim for the new look. Looks alot more professional and polished now and its great that the specs are fully listed.
Please keep...
I still think there's alot that can be done with the older Quake 2 and Quake 3 game engines. Half-life 1 is based on a modified Quake 2 engine and look at the incredible add-ons it spawned (Counterstrike and Day of Defeat namely). And I may be one of the few who thoroughly enjoyed American...
I think this would be a great idea IMO. True, it doesn't have much use/impact when viewed on the unit's screen, but output to a television or monitor this would be great. Imagine using your Pandora at some event with a few playlists set up to random and the music output through a decent...
Did a forum search nothing came up, checked the wiki's, didn't find anything, did a Google, nothing came up.
Is there a Pandora e-mailing list out there for devs, dev-suckups :), or both?
