    Debian On An Sd Card

Copying over eds scripts got me working nubs and overclocking :) Couldn't quite figure out how to copy over the startup script which sets the saved settings though, so I just set my own values manually there.

Hmmm. The other nice thing about installing shell applications is that you can run them without X. Sometimes I like to drop out of XFCE and do this... ...but yeah, there should be a PND version too :)

The thing about a shell application though, is that you'd have to hard-link it to a particular terminal when launching. You don't get the choice... is there a way around this yet?

Fair enough. Skeezix says I need to recompile it with the paths changed or something, then it'll work as a PND application? At least I think that's what he said.

    Question About The Nubs

Like most things, you'll get very accustomed to how the Pandora is. Without even noticing, you'll probably develop styles of holding and typing with it (as is my my own experience).

Does my installer actually work (missing any libraries)? Nobody moaned about it to me yet, so I'll assume it does :) This one: http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/pandora.cgi?0,0,0,0,6,251

    Wanted: Toshiba Libretto Port Replicator

Yeah, the battery was out when the case was opened and everything. I should point out that this machine was apparently sitting for years, unused.

I think we were alreay doing that (gave us drivers for other things).

    Wanted: Toshiba Libretto Port Replicator

Thanks Gruso, I'll look into that some more. :) I tried plugging the CMOS battery in and out, but it didn't fix anything (other than I don't think the LCD cable is sitting quite right now and the screen is flickering slightly).

    Wanted: Toshiba Libretto Port Replicator

I bought a Libretto 100ct before christmas that I found in a local shop for £10! The first hurdle was getting a power supply for it, since this one didn't include any. A bit of Ebay snooping, and I now have the charger and the machine boots up just fine. I then discovered that the BIOS is...

    Nubs. What's The Story?

Thanks Ed. Guess I'll just keep reading the blogs till some better news comes along. To be honest, I haven't found anything out there that would replace the Pandora anyhow; earlier today I spent about 15 minutes with an N900 and... no sparks... lack of keyboard keys spoilt the party.

How Are You Feeling About The Pandora Today?

A bit down, since my third Pandora broke... and now I have to send back for a forth. If the next one breaks, it's getting sold on Ebay (the fifth one). 100% promise.

    Nubs. What's The Story?

Hey guys, The left nub decided to break on my third Pandora, just as it did with my first unit. Can anyone tell me what exactly the design flaw with them is? I'm guessing this unit didn't have the fixed nubs, but I haven't been following what's been happening recently since my Pandora was...

    Port Request: Gambas

Yeah, I didn't have any luck with this. I tried installing the debs and compiling from source in Ubuntu, but it complains about missing libraries. I thought it might be the missing QT stuff, so I tried it in Zaxxon to no effect... it can't even find the same files in the directories they're...
