    A handheld for emulating Amiga?

Super! So there's simple pixel doubling where you loose 16 pixels at the bottom but it's sharp and fill the full screen (320x240 -> 640x480), and slightly softer scaling of 320x256 -> 600x480 + black borders on the sides, but you see 100% of Amiga's display.

    A handheld for emulating Amiga?

One more question: does Amiga emulator utilize the whole Pandora screen? Or just a rectangle in the middle, surrounded by black borders?

    A handheld for emulating Amiga?

The question is: what handheld should I buy if it's mainly for Amiga emulation? It was interesting what BAFelton wrote that on his Shield he was not able to use physical buttons in UAE4all. This of course would ruin the whole idea.

But then you can use virtual keyboard, I guess. And if you e.g. need the space key to throw grenades, you can map it to one of shoulder buttons... Of course, physical keyboard is very nice, especially if you want to run Workbench or keyboard-heavy games (in old Sierra adventures, e.g. Larry 3...

    A handheld for emulating Amiga?

Well, while I agree that physical buttons + an analog nub are a must (to act as a joystick + mouse), I think that one could get away with no keyboard. I don't know if I recall correctly, but weren't you able to control most Amiga games using the joystick only?

    A handheld for emulating Amiga?

Hi, For emulating Amiga on a handheld, the Pandora is an obvious choice. But are there any other, cheaper devices, equally capable of emulating A500/A1200? Gemei A330, Dingoo A-320, GCW-ZERO would not work for me, as they have 320x240 screens only (Amiga had 320x256). Also, I believe that at...

    Considering buying: tons of questions!

In the end, I guess that accessing ext2 on Windows can lead to filesystem corruption, and vice versa - using FAT32 on Linux machines might too. So it would the best to share data through FTP, web or other protocols. Or have one FAT32-formatted SD card just for transferring data from the...

    Considering buying: tons of questions!

Hmmm, what's Ångström then? Or is Ångström the general distribution name (like Ubuntu) and SuperZaxxon is its particular flavor for OpenPandora (like KUbuntu, Edubuntu etc.) ?

    Considering buying: tons of questions!

OK, some more questions then! 1. I'm a bit confused when it comes to the storage (even after reading the related articles on Pandora's Wiki). I understand that the operating system - Angstrom - is stored in NAND memory, while SD cards are used to store executables (.PNDs) and data (game ROMs...

    Considering buying: tons of questions!

Thanks, guys! As for the video, I don't care that much about H.264, but was only interested if I could play commonly-pirated XviD .AVI movies without having to reencode/downsize them. Judging by the hardware parameters, it should not be a problem. And, one more question: what is the ideal SD...

    Considering buying: tons of questions!

Hello, I am considering buying Pandora 1 GHz... but before spending 500 EUR, I have tons of questions: 1. What is my priority is a decent Amiga emulation. And by "decent" I don't mean "15 fps, distorted sound, occasional freezes and sprite glitches", but something that would feel almost like...
