    TOSEC Pandora

Neither of my ports are there :( (although I still haven't fixed the issue with MrDrillux running too fast - I've been very busy and I didn't consider it a high priority because it runs fine at 200-300 MHz...)

    On marketing and buzzwords

Yes, Pandora software should easily run on the P2, whether unmodified or requiring a recompile, if the software environment is the same. That's not to say, however, that the OS would be able to run on the P2 without significant modification. A tremendous amount of work has been done to support...

    On marketing and buzzwords

Back-burnering the Android discussion for a moment: to return to the original thread topic ( :o )... how important is marketability? Personally my first inclination is always against this sort of thing. We have here a community of people who already know about the Pandora, and even those who...

    Release SuperZaxxon Final released!

Still having problems using nub_test_3 - the nub doesn't work before or after suspending, whether or not the power adapter is connected. If it makes a difference, my problem is with the left nub, not the right one.

    Release SuperZaxxon Final released!

Has anyone made any progress on the nub issue?

    Release SuperZaxxon Final released!

Regarding the nub issue: I booted into the old kernel, and the nub worked. I rebooted into the new kernel, and... the nub worked. :D I tried restarting, and the nub still worked! But, after choosing "shut down" instead of "restart", then booting the system up again, the nub stopped working...

    Release SuperZaxxon Final released!

I just got around to installing this. Unfortunately, my left nub has stopped working. It was perfectly fine before the upgrade, and the touchscreen is calibrated and still works fine, as does the right nub. But the left one shows nothing in the input tester, and doesn't work in any game or...

Bad films that are actually good

I like the Sci-Fi Channel original movies like Earthstorm and Ba'al: The Storm God.

Man, I saw the most depressing ad, today... (But not for the reasons you'd think.)

I don't necessarily disagree with Prometheus here, but I would like to point out that complaining about the literacy of the current generation as opposed to those preceding is a tradition that goes back at least as far as Socrates. (Or so it is said. We don't have any direct record of what...

Man, I saw the most depressing ad, today... (But not for the reasons you'd think.)

That story appears to be somewhat apocryphal (and I would hesitate before using the Daily Fail as a citation anyway) according to this article (et al). Also, I would note that that the article was originally published in 2003, and makes some rather misleading claims. You would think that there...

What tune could/do you listen to on permanent loop..?

A lot of Amiga music is suitable for this, especially that composed by maktone for the Class cracktros/installers. I used to listen to this one a lot (Yoot Tower installer): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4FR3JZlCjE

Man, I saw the most depressing ad, today... (But not for the reasons you'd think.)

Definitely bad translation is not new. I'm not sure that bad English is increasing either - instances of bad grammar/spelling seem to be increasing, but we are also consuming more written material than ever (at the very least, more than in the last several decades). I can't find my original...

Man, I saw the most depressing ad, today... (But not for the reasons you'd think.)

It's not even logical - 'taste' is a property, not an ingredient. It's like saying "this Powerade contains red." I suppose it's the same issue as the massive increase in poorly-copyedited newspaper articles (not only is the reporting a shoddy excuse for journalism, they can't even get the...
