I updated it via the settings menu on first start.
that's my conf file:
There are problems with the integratet player. The volume adjust there will set it as a global volume. So other apps will have that volume as a maximum limit.
So you have to go to the integrated player and set it to maximum. Then Ommpc2x will reach higher volume, too.
edit: i put it on...
genesis and snes are perfect i think (there wasn't any game itried which wasn't fullspeed). And even if one have problems you can overclock and it will run fullspeed. Games i play for example (ISS Deluxe, Super Mario Allstars, Super Mario World, Fzero, Darius Twin, Donkey Kong Countrie..)
Yes, i had a F200 and the dpad was fine. The dpad of the WIZ is "OK".. but not better than "ok". I love all the Streetfighter games and with the dpad of the wiz there is no fun. Doing special moves is terrible with that :)
I didn't want do comment that.... but..
You are the most educated here...
and a bad dpad, wrong-placed volume buttons, smaller screen, and paying 50€ above the gp2x price :)
No really, i hope there will be something new.. or the wiz wasn't the right choice for me.
playing nes and snes gets boring, too.
Great release. NFS2 is working almost fullspeed without any tweaking (sound off). And the games are starting faster.
But is there anyway to change psx cycle and psx clock?
Need for speed 3 uses only about 40% of the upper screen.
edit: and if you load a game you can't load another from the...
at this moment, software for gp2x is better - there is nothing the wiz does much better for now . I would wait to see how far the wiz comm goes.
but if you don't mind, buy one.
i think it's interesting to see the developement of the wiz and it's software
Need for Speed 2 is almost playable without opponents:D
PSX Cycle 5.0 (Ingame you have to press L+Volup to set)
With R+ volup/down you can regulate the PSX Clock (but i couldn't get the game faster with that.. with lower than 100% it gets slower)
Its laggy but atleast it plays with...
i think i did. i pressed the vol up button very often in each situation. But don't know..
But it seems their is a problem with the integrated music player. (someone on german gp2x forum found out)
It sets a global volume, doesn't reset it on exit and some application cant get above the volume...
