    Arcade Emulation (focused on M.A.M.E.)

I would love to get a Pyra - once it's available. And with that power an awesome and much more update to version of MAME!

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

And it's working... to be honest I don't know exactly what the solution was, but I went through everything, clean it up and it's all okay now.

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

So I've got this toolchain working okay with another (equally complex) project. It required a little tinkering around and setting a combination of -rpath-link (for the pandora's /lib and /usr/lib) and -L (for pandora's /usr/lib). I didn't need to change to the GOLD linker. I could perhaps try...

    Arcade Emulation (focused on M.A.M.E.)

Ahem, well I'm still going to be releasing a new version of MAME for the Pandora. It's a combo release like for the GCW-Zero called XMAME 2.0 and will have Mame4all 2.0, xmame69 and xmame84. None of these are vanilla ports, all heavily optimized and enhanced. I have someone testing the Pandora...

Is there any readily available battery that is compatible with the Pandora?

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

I already use the flags you mention above - I will add -fuse-ld=gold -fuse-linker-plugin and report back. For best code generation and optimization, should -flto be used in conjunction with -fuse-linker-plugin?

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

    The cross-compiler is 64-bit. $ file `which c` /bin/armv7l-unknown-linux-gnueabi-gcc: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/l, for GNU/Linux 3.2.0, BuildID[sha1]=38cdbcd64ee1fe329252ee255e0f8a64ed05e28f, with debug_info, not stripped It...

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

I don't get it either and also have never seen it during a compile. Could it be a permissions issue? I will also try a very simple program to see if I am able to compile that. Is there anyway to get more information about what is happening? I'm already using -Wl,--verbose

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

I took all files .h .so. a from the Pandora... My linux PC is 64-bit - Pandora is 32-bit... @ptitSeb This method of taking files from the Pandora worked fine under Mac Os X and it is capable of building/linking very nicely.

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

So I built the toolchain and it seems to be working but I get the following issue at the linking stage: arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc: error: ELF####: No such file or directory Those #### represent some weird characters that don't copy/paste. I'm using libraries and header files that I copied from my...

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

Okay I'm trying @ptitSeb script... It's running now. So when you say "From there you can build newer gcc..." what does that mean?

    Pandora toolchain for Linux 2019

I didn't think it would be so difficult, but is there a modern Pandora toolchain available to run on a Linux PC so that I can do some dev? I found the Mac OS X toolchain but I want to move away from this. https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/threads/toolchain-for-mac-os-x.78069/ I know of the "on...

Pandora Crosscompiler Toolchain Based On Openpandora.org Ipks

I also ran this script a few days ago (July 2019) and with the mods in the above post it also worked for me building the arm-2013.11 toolchain. One stumbling block I had was that my system is 64-bit and this builds a 32-bit toolchain. Make sure you install something like this: sudo apt...

Pandora Toolchain for Mac OS X?

Okay well I cobbled it together and it works. I created a $HOME/superzaxxon1_76/usr/lib, $HOME/superzaxxon1_76/usr/include and $HOME/superzaxxon1_76/lib which mimic the relevant Pandora’s directories. I copied the required *.h, *.a and *.so into these directories adjusted my makefile’s -I and...

Pandora Toolchain for Mac OS X?

Well I guess that's okay, I may just copy the includes and libs over from the Pandora and see how that goes. Just keep the gcc specific stuff and everything in /usr/include and /usr/lib.

Pandora Toolchain for Mac OS X?

How do you set this up? I simply downloaded it and plopped the directories into my $HOME. I added the 'bin' directory containing 'arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc', etc to my path. When I make a project i get an error saying that size_t isn't defined. I've set up some extra "INCLUDES =...

    Just bought a GP32

Do any of you guys like Vectrex? I was tinkering with an emulator for the GP32 a few years back. Could pull that one out for you guys to try. I'll have to refresh my memory on it to see if it was in good order or not. I'll also double check vAtari - as I think there may be some other (minor)...
