Maintained list of all remaining issues. Call to help.

I am using the bootloader from here: https://packages.pyra-handheld.com/images/bookworm/ I did not know that you made the latest one. Nice job, thanks :) I am totally not the uboot stuff and have plenty of other stuff to handle. So I totally trust you and aTc to handle that subject. As long as...

Did that not work already? From what I recall it is an other issue that has been caused by all the display rotation stuff.

I updated the first post. Many of the issues are fixed now :) A description regarding the fix was added.

We can close the uboot issue. We did not know that our Debian 10 test and flash SD card used an older less compatible uboot. I tested ALL dead CPU bords we have and in the end 74 of them could be survived with the new uboot and in total only 16 did not boot. That could be uboot or anything...

    LeTux OS

Okay so it is pretty much the same as on PyraOS. No worries, we are exactly where we need to be. This is exactly what this thread is there for :) All the technical stuff should go in here. If you do not mind writing things down twice, you're welcomed to post everything here. I just wanted to...

German friends, I need you help to understand parcels pickup points

Believe in German bureaucracy and accept that you'd need some German citizen to take the parcel for you.

    LeTux OS

Was the 2G stable for you? that alone would be some kind of success already? I would ask you to not go into more detail here. The LeTux issue in regards to LTE has been solved. I plan to open up a new thread regarding specifically the LTE issue that keeps the first post updated and collects all...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Enjoy your Pyra once it arrives and don't hesitate to ask any question here :)

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

All the other frequencies are still the bare minimum numbers that made 10 Pyras boot. It was just the lower frequencies that I had to increase. I expect instability if you lower those other voltages by more than 10mV. You should definitely test that on a boot SD first. Except for 250MHz, I...

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

I edited the first post and added the cpufrequtils file. Thanks for your help netcow and johnicboom.

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

Hahaha, I just was confused about this. It did not work unless I set ENABLED to "true". Yeah, your option is the best probably. I guess we can leave out all content from that file, except for that one line regarding the givernor.

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

You are right, I tested this. This is probably the way to go, if we already have cpufrequtils installed :)

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

I honestly think that our custom governor might be the best option. I just have a whole pile of PCBs here that I need to test and hopefully revive, so I'll take whatever governor already exists ;)

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

Like I said, I don't know what is the best way to handle this. Might very well be that cpufrequtils is the way to go.

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

It is mainly because systemd is on each system already. No idea if it is better. I just like to do whatever possible with systemd. I have just never heard of cpufrequtils, so I wanted to offer an alternative. Might be better, might be worse.

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

systemd exists. This works for me: sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/conservativegovernor.service GNU nano 7.2 /etc/systemd/system/conservativegovernor.service [Unit] Description=Set CPU governor to conservative when on and to...

Awesome, thank you for testing :) Also thanks a lot for that information regarding the governor. I was wondering how to set it permanently but did not have time to look it up. I left my Pyra powered on during the last few days. At least idle seems to be rock stable.

A deeper insight into frequencies, voltages & a thermal script

I understand that a kernel implementation has its advantages. However, I like userspace because that allows for easy tweaking. If the kernel exposes the frequency and temperature limits to the user and reads them from a file, that will be good enough I guess. Personally I use conservative. At...

This thread will be dedicated to my own experimental device tree tweaks in regards to voltage and frequency. It is based on the fantastic work that you can find here: 20*C Cooler, and now with water resistance! I decided to make a new thread so that my files will not get lost in a huge pile of...

20*C Cooler, and now with water resistance!

Hey, Thanks for passing by :) Will it hurt? I did not notice any downsides when using 50 MHz steps. Strange, I can set 10mV volt steps and it makes a difference in stability. This is not at voltages that are being rounded up/down to the next full 50mV. I noticed immediate improvements (will...
