Wow. Great to all the updates that continue to happen ...
Really glad I didnt pre-order it a while ago when that opened up. Ill have happy to throw down my money when its ready to be shipped though. Hope my Pyra dream comes true in 2018 now I guess.
These developments are great to hear.. I havnt been able to afford the luxury of putting down money for a preorder. Maybe ill be able to get my hands on Pyra in 6months.... but somehow I feel that is optimistic.
I think I would probably be a lot more comfortable in 2nd or 3rd batch also. Avoiding some of learning pains of 1st gen devices seems smart.
Would be very interested in a clear "color" if it is available, I think it looks rather cool in the videos I have seen so far.
Well of the top of my head >
An actual ship date or at least an ETA of when I can get it my hands on it. Obviously cant to do that during this preorder phase before the parts for first 1000 batch have yet to be ordered,... and all the preorder ppl need to get their units.
ED was talking about...
I am very interested in the Pyra but after getting burned on a couple Kickstarter type things I'll be waiting to throw down my money when more info comes out.
I read over the tech/info on the Pyra and I was surprised to learn what the Pyra has:
1. 32GB internal storage (Had no idea there was going to be internal storage)
2. All the ports on the back of the Pyra. (Totally assumed there would be like 2 ports back there)
3...
IMO they should have waited until proper PR was done before opening for pre-orders. It would have made for better news coverage if a lot more people were pre-ordering.
Do I have to give my real date of birth when putting in my pre-order? I have never made an online purchase before where they want my DOB. (USA dude here)
Not sure if this was answered somewhere else but are the nubs replaceable?
I am thinking about this because my the nub my old PSP fell off and I need to replace it now.
I am concerned about the heat issue's effect on the long term batter life of the Li-ion battery cells.
Any idea how much would be required to put down for a pre-order? That $500 price range makes me realize I need to start saving for it now, hahaha
Long time lurker. Just wanted to say that it looks like everything is coming along great with the Pyra.
I cant wait to play some Duke Nukem 3D on my Pyra when I get my hands on one.
