No problem with it being moved to marketplace. I've altered the 1st post, as I think offers ~£350 is probably more reasonable given what you say about wanting to pay closer to retail.
Well, I'm going to have to sell my beloved Pandy :-( I've had a great few weeks with it.
Here's a video of it: Youtube
My car decided to blow up (literally) and I need to get some cash together. I don't especially want to throw it on ebay, I'd rather see if someone on the forums wants to buy it...
Using a Netgear DG834GT (with WEP security). It's great. It doesn't seem any different to my (wireless) laptop. My first gen touch is rubbish in comparison.
As a side note, i did have to get the dns working by typing something like 'sudo usb down' or something - the details are in the help...
If it becomes clear that orders aren't being shipped in order they were made, I'll be cheesed off. I'm british, and therefore queuing is important to me.
What do you have if queues aren't respected? Chaos.
I've got my order number saved in a file dated 15:15 (BST) on 30th Sept. I make that 14:15...
Congratulations! It's great to see that units are still getting out. I thought they were expecting to have shipped the latest 200 by yesterday.
Seems like the sequence in which orders were placed isn't the only factor determining how they are being fulfilled (There's still plenty of people from...
Yep - mine's 30 September 2008, 15:13:58 BST (14:13:58 UTC). Congratulations on recieving your mail though - I'm not trying to make trouble or anything haha! I'm sure i'll get mine soon.
I see, thanks for the info. The file I saved my order # to is dated: 30 September 2008, 15:13:58 (BST), which would be 14:13:58 (GMT/UTC). Hopefully this means I'll be getting my mail soon, and not that it's been skipped
Did they hand out GP32 / GP2X to devs first, or did they queue up and buy them like everyone else? I honestly don't know the answer to this.
I'm not looking for a bun fight or anything, I just don't see what these 100 devs are supposed to be doing that's so critical it can't wait until they've...
1 / A few weeks headstart on the core Pandora fans isn't going to make any more than a few weeks difference in dev application release dates. These devs haven't got 4 weeks booked off work you know. They're going to be posting unboxing vids like everyone else would.
2 / These applications aren't...
Give them to the first 100 orders. It already does everything a linux netbook does, which is all it needs to do at launch.
Software comes over time, usually AFTER hardware is released to the public. Why rush to give a few extra weeks to devs? It will just mean another month of fustrating delays...
