    Gp2x-ti92: A Ti-92 Calculator Emulator V1.0.1

To all the rationalized critisizing posts: I still think that when you receive a free meal and say it needs more salt after the first bite, it's rude and ungratefull. Even if it needs more salt. Just say thank you, add the salt and give him a taste back if you want.

Best Way To Replace The Screen.

I think konqithedragon got half the info he wanted. The second half would be how to stick his glass screen replacement. Maybe some really thin 2 side tape?

    Gnugo2x

This is truly awesome!! Didn't find any bugs yet. It plays nice and smooth and is reasonably fast. Seems like a clean, bang up port job. I had to fire up some old untranslated NES or SNES roms when I felt like being trunced at Go, not anymore!! Maybe this port will be a bit less popular than...

How To Use Old Savestate To Work On With Pocketsnes

Reesy is very generous to give you so complete of a response. But really, read the readme. It's all in there and I followed what is said and it worked the first time. If you think you made a mistake, just copy your sram(srm) and savestates(sv0,sv1...) elsewhere and try again. Also, Pocketnes...

    Age Profile Of Gp2x Members

    Was 28 when I bought my GP32, 30 when I bought my GP2X, 31 now. So I'm a pretty average guy :)

    I Need Help With Gpsp

Well, he was also asked for more details. Like, I don't know, define what is strange about the menu he gets, if he followed the readme to the letter... Also, the flamming responses were way more harsh then the mildly irritating post that pool wrote. It can be more contructive to respond calmly...

    Ahhhh!! My 2x Is Busted

Be sure to try with nimh rechargeable batteries 2500 mah and up before anything else. Standard batteries can drain surprisingly fast. They are not suited for high drain devices such as the GP2X.

Saving Game Files With Nes Gpfce

MrPepper's keys are right. Also, holding R changes the save slot. So it maybe that you changed the save slot and didn't realise it. Of course all of this and more is in the readme as PokeParadox said.

    Battery Led Problem

Just wanted to add that with some new and cheap batteries (like my 2600s) the voltage drops way too fast. So the 2x goes from all ok to off leaving no time for any warning. Now that I have charged and discharded them a couple of times, i sometimes see the battery led.

I Love The Idea Of The Gp2x..... But

Well I use filters when playing on my computer as I wasn't able to see pixels when playing a real SNES back in the days. Streching? yes that is not a good thing except maybe when image would be way too small.

I Love The Idea Of The Gp2x..... But

I agree with DaveC about PSP snes emulation being better and buying GP2X solely fot snes emulation wouldn't be the best choice. I saw with my own eyes FF6 running on psp snes emu, streched but with beautifull filter, full speed with transparancies. Wow, it was really something. But please...

I Love The Idea Of The Gp2x..... But

Sorry for venting, but some people ARE hard on SNES emu quality. I mean, sure you can say that overall it is not to your liking, but what about all the games that run 60fps at 250mhz with great sound(headphones) and little to no glitches? You can at least say that quality varies like I think...

    Screws

Those screws are hard! They ate right through 2 cheap screwdrivers I have. I ended up using one a bit too big for those holes, they are a bit larger now. I thought I was stripping the screws and was starting to freak out, soon found out that the screws were in perfect shape and my screwdrivers...

    Slowdown And Lag Problems...very Annoying!

I get the exact same thing with GPFCE. I will try fishy's emu to see if I get the same thing. My SD is supposed to be 40X. But playing a game that is not even zipped and is like 500k, I would find it surprising if the emu didn't load all the file in memory before starting. It bugs me a little...

    Gp32z Is Closing Down

I ordered from them just in time it seems. And my unit got tested for overclockability and dead pixel at my demand. That is great service to the very end.

    Neo Geo /rage 2x

I'm a new GP2X user, but here is my two cents. I had problems runing any roms and I was having that same error message. I was using roms from my old MAME directory. I downloaded more recent ones and every one worked. So maybe you could find another rom for metalslug 1/2.

    I Just Got My Gp2x!!!

Can't believe my user is still registered :) Hello, I didn't post here for ages. I am the proud owner of a GP32 that kind of died (bricked?) on me a couple of months ago. Kind of, because I wasn't flashing it, I was playing an emulator, so maybe my overclocking resistor mod caused it, after...

    GBA more simular to GP32

The GBA can play movies in software but from what I read, the codec uses a slide show of many still images and put them in one file. The file size is big so I'm not even sure an episode would fit on 64 mbytes and the encoding time is looooooong. Something like 10 hours for 2 minutes. The quality...

    OpenSnes9XGP 0.3 WIP

First of all congratulations for an incredible emu. What a nice little package. Nes and Snes are my two favorite consoles so you are my personnal hero :D Here are my suggestions: 1- More speed, of course :) 2- Low quality, non-crackling sound 3- Is it possible to do a 1 mhz increment clock...
