What does the new case look like?

I'm in with ImmaculateChimp... I'm not certain I like this new color. I was under the impression it was gonna be darker. Any chance of these new cases being sold without paint?

    Transferring PS1 files

Luckily serial-to-USB cables are quite cheap now. :P I had to buy a converter box for my Wacom Intuos tablet (from 2000) and it was around $50 back in 2002. Not only that, but the drivers weren't easy to come by. Now they're like $10-15, and I'd bet the drivers are built into Win7 and other...

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

Thx, I gave it a try but I think it really does only work for EU accounts. I tried it on my US account and it said the code was invalid or entered wrong. After the 3rd try I can conclude the code won't work for us USAians lol. :P

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

I'm not from Australia or New Zealand, but I thought I'd chime in a bit. I haven't touched my Vita in a good long time now, with the exception of moving it from one spot to another. Part of that is because I'd been busy, but largely it's because: - for fear of damaging the delicate finish...

    How's it going? (2012-03-05)

Another interested party here, too. A couple of friends who are waiting for theirs might like an update as well. :)

    Sonic the Key-logger

So now it's not a keylogger, just a glitch that makes antivirus software think it is?

My apologies, I don't have much to contribute to this topic, but I just wanted to say... ... this quote works REALLY well with your avatar, moz.

Lol, I had a similar experience... my aunt telling my brother and I, "do you know how much duct tape costs??"

    Cardboard Arcade

Very cool! I'd seen this vid floating around but never watched it till now, and I'm glad I did. Very cute story, and awesome that Caine spent all that time making something and persevering at it. Kid's gonna be a great businessman someday! :D

    Sonic the Key-logger

That's all really nuts. I read the drama and now I'm pretty glad I didn't have time to install the demo, but watching some 1080p video of it playing makes me sad that such a great effort is marred by just absolutely ridiculous idiocy.

Worst Company in America Bracket 2012

Wow, I would have thought Zynga should be there.

    Kickstarter campaign:Advanced 2D animating tool

Watching this one, too. I tried the demo for a bit, seems like it'll take some getting used to and I don't have any files on-hand that I can try with it. Anyone else tried it yet?

    Transferring PS1 files

I seemed to recall around the time of the PSX that there was at least one memory card backup device. A quick search pointed me to "Dexdrive" and "Maxdrive." I think the one I remembered may have been the Dexdrive. I'm not clear as to how it works, but the comments about the product suggest it...

    New phone advice

Me too! I'm not a fan of the Pentile arrangement of the pixels, so I'm holding out for a Note 2 (or 3) with a Super AMOLED Plus HD screen. :D I had a chance to play with a Note at a BestBuy recently, and it was really neat! It's big, but not unreasonably big. Might take a little getting used...

    New phone advice

I haven't had any experience with the models you suggested, or any others here, other than a brief test of the Xperia Play which I thought had buttons too clicky and small for my taste. I personally have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100). No physical keyboard, but it's by far the best phone I've...

Hot Shots Golf in US, not a bad game. It's a bit of a grind trying to get stuff, but it's a decent pick-up-and-play game. I prefer Pangya, which is basically the same thing with more focus on characters, but since that's not available HSG is a decent alternative. :) KK25, I agree with you on...

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

Sounds like an isolated case or two. I'm not terribly concerned about that, but I'll knock on wood for that. :P Also, is that one guy suggesting leaving it plugged in for a month, or holding down the power button for 2 minutes being sarcastic, or serious? Had that been suggested to me, I...

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

^ You bring up a very interesting point. I've felt for a while now that I'm usually more excited about the hardware than the software, and all the devices that have kept my interest have usually had some level of user-defined customization. I actually got really into my PSPs when I was...

    SONY PlayStation Vita (PS Vita)

Hmm, good point. I suppose that would be a concern for them. However, it would seem to me that homebrew would never make up for the games they produce with money, as most homebrew games I've used have been things like tools or utilities, alternate image viewers, or games that usually aren't very...
